One word ... AWESOME ... AMAZING ... REMARKABLE ... OUTSTANDING!!! Okay four words. Reno Computer Fix is all these. My system crashed on Saturday at 3:20 pm. After having a heart attack (as I was in the middle of doing homework and realized I would have to create about 25 hours of homework for 4 classes) I called Reno Computer Fix. They have fixed my 8 year old laptop before. They closed at 4pm, but told me to come down and they would look at it for me even though I wouldnt get there until 4. Ian and Natalie were AWESOME!!! They stayed 3.5 hours giving up their plans on a Saturday night. They were able to retrieve all my homework (priority at the time), and all my other documents, pictures, and God knows what else I have stored on my hard drive. I have used other places before with minimal expectations and that is what I got, minimum customer service. So when I went to Reno Computer Fix, they blew me away with their friendly, amazing customer service, SUPER LOW prices, willingness to go above and beyond anything and everything to get me back up and running. They are honest and told me exactly what I needed (or in this case, didn’t need), they found the lowest prices for what I needed, they didn’t try to up sell me on anything I didn’t need or want, but gave me options in our discussion only because I was interested, but still provide quality parts, WITH A GUARANTEE. I will NEVER take my computer issues to anyone else EVER!!!! And I learned when I do buy a new computer they can take all the sales crap off of it that the stores put on for promotions. Highly recommended!

Wow, these guys deserve MAJOR Kudos--they were incredibly nice, solved our problem in less than an hour and were amazingly easy on the wallet! Ian saved our butts when we came to town this last weekend and my sisters hard drive connector input broke. She couldnt get into her hard drive and had work on the drive she needed to access for a project due the previous day (she is a photographer). Ian opened the casing to find the soldered input has broken and while these folks couldnt do soldering on site, he came up with a creative solution: seat the drive (minus casing) in a hard drive dock and have us use it until we could get a new drive (or get the old one "fixed"). He originally said he would rent it to us, and then said he would basically sell it to us for the rental price of $30 (since he had just gotten a replacement). He didnt charge us for opening the case and diagnosing. I actually ended up giving Ian a "tip" since I felt he hadnt charged us enough for the time he spent! Anyway, he handled our problem creatively and quickly (we were in and out in about a half hour), was a pleasure to work, and was insanely affordable. What else could we possibly want? Give these guys your business...you wont be sorry! Thanks Ian, you saved our bacon and we will always remember your great Reno hospitality! Hope your business thrives. Reno Computer Fix is a phenominal computer repair store with exceptional customer service. I would highly recommend going here over the big chain places such as Geek Squad/Best Buy and Mac-O-Rama. At Reno Computer fix they actually care, work, and show you what is wrong and exactly what they can do to help/ fix it. Reno computer repair wont rip you off either and try and sell you expensive parts and labor. From my personal experience Best Buy Geek Squad told me that it would be 1800 dollars to fix my macbook pro. The computer is worth 1,100 dollars brand new, and I HAD THE INSURANCE! I basically told them to go play with the purple elephants. Im sure they just took one look at my computer and were like 1,800 bucks. Anyways I took my computer to Reno computer fix and I got amazing customer service right off the bat. Justin and Ian ( the owner) were super helpful, and we both laughed at how stupid Geek Squad is, as they took apart my computer and figured out what was wrong with it. In the end Reno Computer Fix got my computer working again for only a 100 bucks. I love tis place. Thanks Justin and Ian, Warren

My computer was powering up, but I was unable to have it go to the BIOS. Alex was able to determine that the motherboard was damaged and had to be replaced. We ordered the part there and then. Two days later, I was back at the shop and Alex went through fixing it with me. He replaced the motherboard with me and explained what he was doing. After replacing the motherboard, he went out of his way to make sure that the computer is working perfectly. There are some things in life we never forget. I am sure I will never forget the type of hospitality this place had me experience. The price for the fix, diagnosis, testing, and installation could have been hundreds of dollars, but what they charged me is not even close to that. I trust this group of people and I wish them luck in their career. I can picture this local business going big someday, just because of the trust and loyalty they continue to gather from the community.

About 2.5 years ago I downloaded a virus on my lap top. I took it to the Geek Squad who quoted me a $300 charge to just remove the virus. I agreed to pay the fee desperate to retrieve the information on my PC. They were unable get past my password screen (which I did provide). I took my lap top to Justin at Reno Computer Fix within 2 minutes he is was into my hard drive and diagnosed it. Yes it had a virus but also a bad hard drive which totally made since. With everything he did for my computer I paid less than half of what I would have with the other guys, plus I have guarantee of their work, I have a long time computer repair guy. They are friendly, knowledgeable, and AWESOME!!!! I finally have my grandson’s baby pics from when he was born (hadnt shared them with anyone before the crash). I cannot thank Reno Computer Fix enough. Go to them, they are reasonably priced and really know their stuff!!!

Justin and Michelle were great. I will be going back and recommend them to you. I recently took my daughters lap top in to be fixed vs going out and buying her a new one. Im so happy I did. My daughter is so excited. she tells me its running like new again. Being from the BC era (before computers) My first thought was to go to Best Buy or Geeks for repairs. I tried these in the past and found them to be not as knowledgeable as they should be and over priced I believe in supporting our local businesses so searched the YP and made several calls .My third call was Reno Computer Fix. Michelle picked up the phone right away and after a few questions I new this was were I wanted to go. Justin was very customer friendly and professional. As was all the staff. Please try these folks before going anywhere else.

Wow! As a first-time customer I have been so impressed with the customer service I have received from Jeff and the team. I took my computer in to have Windows re-installed, after it crashed, while also requesting that they save and restore all of my stored documents and files. They successfully re-installed windows and restored all of my saved files and documents for a reasonable price. They also followed up with me to make sure there were no additional issues. When I did have a couple of questions, I was able to call Jeff directly to have him share my computer remotely to address any concerns I had. Most recently, Jeff remotely corrected issues causes to my computer by a virus. I was not charged for any of the follow-up assistance! Definitely, try these guys out for your computer repair needs!!
