Although Crossroads is not as it once was, there are still several stores inside of the main hallway between Target and Sears and down the hallway of the main entrance. They have the largest knife, sword and dagger outlet in Omaha (Stellas, in the Sears wing), who also sells unique fashion jewelry that you NEVER see in Omaha! This is the type of jewelry you see in New York and Chicago and LA but at WHOLESALE PRICES (a lot cheaper than retail!). They still have several other specialty stores that are one of a kind to Omaha. They have a store that sells classic and vintage items (Regenerations) and an Avon distributor (Sissys Bags). They also have a kiosk (Wireless Solutions) who fixes watches, and sells celebrity paintings, cell phone cases and sunglasses at an AMAZING PRICE. You will not see them anywhere else for less expensive! Its become Omahas best kept secret! It still is worth visiting, and actually, many people do. If you are not looking for your regular nationwide-chain clothing stores which you can find in Anywhere, USA, then you will want to check out some of the unique stores this mall still has to offer. If you ignore the fact that it once was a larger mall with several dozens of stores, and see that it would be like any regular strip mall with around 15 stores then you can actually see that it isnt just a "dead mall"!

I go to Barnes and Nobles then i go right into the mall through the back of the book store. Yes it may not be as lively as it was when the mall was up and running, it use to have a full food court and lots of stores but thats not the case anymore because of a bad rap and new malls, But!! there are a few really awesome stores like Stellas which sells swords, knives and anime themed jewelry posters and so on, the guy that works there is super friendly and there is always time to stop by and look around. There is also a shop called Regenerations which has all sorts of things, posters, music, old movies, and there is also a costume shop, fairy tale costume shop thats fun to browse around. Even though it may not seem like much i would hate for the shops in crossroads to have to move, so give it a look, not a huge excited mall but i still love it

Westroads and Oak View Malls are thriving and Crossroads Mall was once one of them. Fairytale Costumes store in the Target wing is closing for good.Last time I went there,The One radio station has moved out and the Target mall entrance has closed but the store is open to the outside of the mall.I saw that the compass of the main entrance has been taken off.The mayor said that Crossroads would be demolished a date certain.

Nicknamed the Abysmall, Omaha needs to do something with this ghost town of a shopping center. I hear plans are in the works, but Ive been hearing that for the five years Ive lived here. Really creepy inside. The only anchor store left is Sears, but we all know where thats likely headed. Target and Barnes and Noble are the only larger stores. The rest are second-rate purse stores, auction services, a costume shop, etc.

Sears Department Store. I love going into sears, the staff is friendly and helpful. I buy my craftsman tools here. I also bought a kenmore coffee pot here. A kenmore microwave. A large screen tv. A new snowblower by craftsman. This Sears store is at crossroads mall. It has everything i need from surprise gifts for my wife and daughter to tools to lawn tools i buy for my business. Even riding mowers and parts.

When I was there I went to the haunted bathroom to take a dump. But two other guys came in the stall next to me. I swear to god they were blowing each other. I just sat in my stall really quiet and hoped they did not hear me. But the dude knocked on the stall wall and asked me for a cigarette. So I mean It was great. Ill definitely stop on by and support this wonderful establishment.

Back in the day this mall was awesome! Today though, its simply a shell of a building with only Target and an awesome Barnes & Noble store that bring anyone in. At Christmas time, there is a great place to buy trees in the front parking lot and in the summer, a fantastic fireworks stand. Other than this, there truly isnt a real good reason for most folks to visit here.

In its heyday this must have been a swanky mall but now its a sad shell of its former glory. There is still a Target and a very nice Barns & Noble but the rest of the mall is boarded up with exception of some strange private boutique shops. There are big plans in place for it to be redeveloped in the coming years into Crossroads Village, so I have high hopes for the area.

Mall is not its former self and hope someone tries to bring some major life back into the mall... their is still a lot of good stores their like target, sears, Barns And Nobles and a bunch of mom and pop stores. I Recommend Stellas... I mainly go to this mall for Stellas, they have a lot of neat things : )

I hope they can find a good use for this space. While there are a few eclectic and interesting stores still in the mall, its definitely a shell of its former self. Not uncommon with malls across the country, but I hope someone comes along with a great idea to make the space usable and inviting once again.

An Omaha, NE tradition. By that I mean, everyone from here knows its a joke. The only time I go here is to stop at the Barnes & Noble location connected to the mall. The location of this mall is amazing, how it went downhill to having like nothing inside of it is still a head scratcher to me?

We went in expecting to get shot or somthing. However, we did not. The stores that are there are ok. But there is like three stores and its really creepy. We broke into the upstairs and yeah its like actually haunted or somthing. Maybe just a security system but creepy nonetheless.

This is a mall that has been dying for decades. Current plans are to rehabilitate and modernize this into an Urban Village environment. Its taken five years since the announcement and nothing has gotten done yet the developer is working on financing.

Bring it back to its former state and Ill change my review. But just like the other reviews. It seemed very dead inside. And Sears tried to charge me for a inline store pick up item so i went to oakview mall after that. Didnt get charged there.

Crossroads Mall is dead. If you need a quiet place to walk a straight line and back, let me suggest the First Level trek. Otherwise, there is not much going on here. Any stores you need to go to are mostly accessible from the outside. Mostly.

Not alot inside but stellas is a great store with a dedicated team. They make you feel like family. It is mostly abandoned to be clear. But i find it peacful and nice place to walk around without a lot of other people getting in the way.

This place is a ghost town. A dead (or dying) mall that is partially filled with second-tier stores like Sears, various cell-phone accessory shops, and a place where you can buy a blanket with a lion smoking weed on it.
