I ordered some sunglasses over the holidays from Joe but they never showed up and was apparently lost in the USPS priority mail. Joe promised me either a refund or another set of glasses since the ones I ordered were discontinued. Joe stated he was going to do some investigation and try to locate the package before he sent me another pair of glasses or a refund which I said OK and that would be fine. After several phone calls later trying to get a hold of Joe he no longer would return my calls nor anyone at the have a hike shop and Then I received an email stating that since the package had been already delivered according to USPS but was lost it was no longer there responsibility to take care of the customer. Have a hike shop has left me dealing with USPS and a missing package filing claims online to try to locate the package that have a hike shop has mailed. I am thoroughly disappointed in the service have a hike shop has given their customers I would never recommend this place to anyone shop local dont buy online especially from the have a hike shop. The worst online experience !!

I ordered a Light In Motion LED headlamp a few months back. The price was very reasonable, which brought me to the Take A Hike Shop. Unfortunately, when it arrived, it wasnt functioning properly. I called The shop and spoke to Joe; he was extremely helpful and sent me a new headlamp and it arrived to days later. This faulty product clearly wasnt A representation of Take A Hike Shop, and Joe quickly resolved it with no hassle whatsoever. Their customer service was fantastic. I plan to come back with any future orders knowing that if there are issues or returns required I wont encounter any issues.

I ordered some cycling shoes and they ended up being the wrong size. I contacted them for an exchange and was told the size I needed wasnt currently available but they would backorder it for me, even with no ETA. The shop stuck with it and made it painless for me (except for the delay, which wasnt their fault). Im a very happy customer with a great pair of shoes.

Im really glad to have Take A Hike Shop in Saint Charles. Joe is a tremendous help with whatever your outdoor project or endeavor happens to be. Its nice to have a local shop where they know you and remember what your outdoor interests are. Great prices, great service, great shop.

Stopped by to check out the local bike shop scene. This shop is super cool! Friendly down to earth staff more than willing to educate us on local trails! Definitely worth your time if your in the area and like bikes!
