Battlefield Mall is your quintessential, stereotypical mall that you knew and loved in the 80s. Its quite large in size and in terms of retail youll find everything on the list of usual suspects there. I was quite happy to see they have a Spencers Gifts there because its just not a legit mall without one. All in all, it may not be the trendy thing anymore but I quite enjoyed the nostalgic feel of it. It may be a somewhat outdated concept but I feel its still a viable one and I hope these old malls never completely disappear. On a scorching hot day its nice to wander into a place like Battlefield Mall for a stroll in the air conditioning, do a little bargain hunting, and enjoy the people watching.

Just in general Im not a huge fan of crowds and noise. This is a mall, as with any mall. It gets crowded and noisy. This is a Simon Mall, and this one, like all the other Simon Malls ive been in, is clean, well kept and the Simon staff, the security and janitors are friendly polite and helpful. Their food court is well equipped with TVs and music. This a very comfortable mall experience and the walk ways are not over crowded with kiosks, and even the parking lots and exterior of the mall is very clean and well kept. Over all this is rather enjoyable mall experience. If you like malls in general, you will enjoy this one. And if you look for s great mall experience, this is it.

As shopping malls go, Battlefield Mall suits Springfield. Its certainly not the largest mall, and its not a place most locals will spend their weekends, but its not a bad mall either. Battlefield Mall is kept very clean, has all the big box stores that a proper mall "should" have, and doesnt tend to suffer from an infestation of badly behaved teens and pre-teens in the evenings and summer months. The kiosk vendors arent too aggressive, parking is manageable, and theres often a Farmers Market that sets up in the parking lot. However, Battlefield Mall just seems to lack the distinct personality that many other malls have.

The guy at the kiosk that sells the little dogs that squeak and walk was very rude to us. My daughter was holding one of the little dogs looking at it and he asks in his broken english "you buy" I said we were only looking and he took the toy from my daughters hands and said "no buy no touch". I was shocked someone could be so rude to a child that wasnt doing anything wrong. Whats sad is I purchased 3 of those dog toys at Christmas and two no longer squeak. One of these times hes going to get punched for doing that.

Has good choices of stores. Food court has a really good variety to save making extra stops when you are hungry after looking around. As most malls. Know your prices before you go. Some stores products are very over inflated. Only disappointed issue was the tables at the food court are not cleaned very well and the main maintenance guy that day seemed to be too distracted talking to young girls to make sure his people were staying at their duties. Who went missing instead of cleaning. Hope this helps.

I got my ears pierced in march of this year at clares. when I got done the lady who did it was awesome she did not tell me that if my earrings were damaged or broke I had 30 days to re place them. So I was there a while ago today to see if they could fix them the one girl was really snotty to me and instead of telling me what they could do to fix it they were discussing it amongst themselves. really like the but sometimes really snotty and they act better than everyone else.

Im sure the mall is a great place for many people. But I kinda loath the place. It has maybe three stores I like to go to and half the time those stores are so jammed packed that you cant even look around. Foot traffic is a bit ridiculous and a think a major renovation would do the place, as a whole, some good. If you are like me, and dont like people, its best to stay away from this place unless its not around a holiday, on the weekend, or durning any school break.

Standard mall. Has pretty good shops for most ages. Unfortunately there are a lot of kiosk shops taking up the walking space. Good news there is plenty of parking, even during rush or peak times of the year. I feel safe because I can park close to the building. There are plenty of entrances to the building. There is a Ruby Tuesday and a 5 guys. The food court has a good selection if you want fast food.

I am absolutely shocked that Battlefield Mall does not have mobility scooters for the handicap. Wheelchairs are provided but what if you want to go there by yourself. I live close to Coralville Mall in Iowa City Iowa and they have mobility rentals. I can spend the whole day there with my grandchildren only because of the scooters. You need to invest in them for Battlefield Mall.

Had my oil changed at Sears. It was a pleasant experience; however, I was upset by the unadvertised "hidden fees" involved in the oil change. My $17.99 special turned into an approximately $35 dollar expense after labor and shop fees were tacked on. I guess my advice would be to just go expecting this if you appreciate their quality service.

Stores close often here and I try not to make eye contact with the sales people who man the kiosks as they will try to sell you things you dont need even after youve said no. One guy selling toys snipped at me because the sign said no touching but the toy had fallen over and I was fixing it, that was around this past Christmas.

Yeah, they got a Sephora and a Coach..ok. I can shop Sephora online and save $ by having it shipped to me rather than dropping $70 on the gas it will take me to get there and Coach purses are cheaply manufactured. So really this mall has no stores to offer me and theyre entrances were set up by a complete moron.

I dont necessarily dislike the mall but it is always so busy. I went to Victoria Secret and I could hardly get through there to look at the merchandise. I stood in line for over 20 minutes and they had four people checking out. But thats usually the way it is when you go in there. Its super busy.

They have a good variety of shops. Their restrooms are usually clean. There is a food court, Starbucks, and places to get refreshments throughout. Security seems to be pretty good, as well. Oh! There is a nursing station in the restroom next to the food court for all breastfeeding mommas!

Very large mall with lots of fun stores anchored by JC Penneys, Dillards, Macys, and Sears. Surprisingly small food court although there are lots of places to eat around the mall and sprinkled throughout it. They should have better placed handicap parking spots and more of them.

The Battlefield Mall has many of the options you would expect from a major shopping center. Much of the mall has been updated recently, and there are very few vacant stores. Overall, the mall is safe and well patrolled, but car break-ins can still be a problem.
