This was my first time in the MOA teavana. The girl who was working here (this happened a few years ago) totally bamboozled me. She offered to brew me a tea after showing me several canisters of various teas, one of which I said smelled ok. I assumed this was going to be a free sample, of course. I drank the tea (I didnt like it), then said thank you and that I was going to leave. The girl then says I have to pay for the tea I drank. It ended up being upwards of $6! Let me remind you, I never had said "I want this one!" Or "I would like to buy a cup of this tea"... she had offered it to me. This was a very uncomfortable and irritating experience. I didnt argue with her because I was in shock of what had just happened. Beware of this sort of trickery.

After having a very negative experience at the Southdale store, dealing with two rather rude female employees, I had an incredible experience with Jamie. She went the extra 10 miles to make sure that I was a happy customer. As a result of her fantastic efforts I ended up getting not one but 218 acres, sugar, A measuring spoon, and two different types of tea. I can assure you, I will be a regular customer at this location and, with Jamies help, I will do my best to allow my mouth to enjoy very wide array of tea.if you going to this location, ask for Jamie (the manager) shes the best!

Such an amazing experience at the MOA Teavana, as I was just going in to test the tea but because of the customer service, this was my first time actually buying tea from and the associates were so helpful, I couldnt help but want to write a review! Jamie mainly assisted me with my purchases but Sara and Matt were there too, and they all made my experience with my son a beautiful one! I will be sure to stop back at that location when I need to refill my tea! Thanks again all! -Fran

I went in here and had a terrible experience. The gentleman that helped me would not give me prices on tea. Instead I received a convoluted spiel on their teas and their serving sizes. All I wanted was 2 ounces of tea. Then he tried to sell me a pot and proceeded to tell me how their over priced ones were somehow better than the ones I had. I wont be back in this place ever again. I will stick to Davids Tea, where the employees are less argumentative and pushy.

I had a great time at this Teavana! Thankfully, they were doing a HUGE sale. So, I walked out of there with almost 3 pounds of tea for only $100. Which would have normally been about triple the price. Thank you so much to Roberto and Talon for all of their help. They got me hooked on awesome new flavors. AND they got my roommate started on tea for her mother with the perfect tea maker gift set. I had a wonderful experience and will surely be back!

Great tea, but it will be more expensive - try shopping the clearance racks after Xmas for some great deals. Also, if you are looking for the benefits of tea, stick with ones that actually contain green, white, or black tea leaves. Herbal teas may not have the same antioxidant benefits. Always free samples and friendly staff.

We came in to buy tea for our wedding and Darrel (sp?) was AWESOME. He knew what would taste good and what wouldnt, suggested a number of combinations, knew how much we actually needed, what ratio of different teas to use, and was able to tell us the best way to brew and serve it.
