I just returned from a physical visit to this location. I entered the store with my husband, with the intent of trying a few pairs on and purchasing a pair on the spot. We were not here to window shop. While I was trying pairs on, no one approached me to assist me. That was OK, there were a few customers in who probably needed more assistance than I did, I had already narrowed down the frames I wanted online. What happened in the next few minutes, however, was not OK: an employee walked by me, while I was trying on glasses, stared me up and down, and pretended to adjust inventory. Ive worked in the retail industry and the service industry for awhile... I know what this means. It means "I dont think you have enough money to shop here, Im going to make sure you dont steal anything." She did not offer any assistance, she just stared and walked away. These actions were repeated by another sales associate, until finally the person who appeared to be the on-site eye doctor asked if I had been helped. I said no, and that Id like to purchase a pair of glasses. He fetched a sales associate to help me. She was very helpful, although she did question as to whether the $30 upcharge for higher index lenses "would be a problem for me." I realize this is procedure, it was just worded a little poorly. I did end up purchasing the glasses but the entire experience was just very hostile. I love Warby Parker glasses, the store is beautiful, and I understand the need to prevent theft but you can accomplish that without alienating your customers, especially if theyre ready to pay, card in hand. P. S: I wasnt wearing makeup, but Im not that scary looking!

Horrible business practices and customer service!! My wife paid for a pair of glasses with her debit card on a Sat afternoon. The transaction went through New York, and my cc company/master card thought it was a fraudulent transaction and froze my bank account. Try explaining to someone in the Philippines how u live in Ks, made a purchase in Mo., and it went through NY City!! Tried calling the store in KC Mo, and found that all calls are rerouted to their headquarters in Tenn. Called three times requesting resolution and the phone number for the KC store. They wouldnt provide it and stated they didnt a have direct number for this store. They finally agreed to contact t he store and have the mgr call me.They did agree to . Comp.the glasses, but IIll have to wait until Monday to talk to my Bank!

I was excited to see a local store in KC. I had been seeing online ads but felt it was better to see the frames for myself and try on the frames. I wanted a progressive reader & I anticipated an easy seamless ordering experience. After being promised a 7-10 day turnaround time on Feb 18 and receiving a confirmatory email confirming my order, I called today ( March 6 ) wondering where my glasses were. Alas, the order was never processed ( due to the inexperience of the staff entering the order ) and I was never contacted. You may have a great product but if you cant provide the service, enter the order right, or followup with the customer, youll never make it. Lots of other options are out there - looks like training of their sales staff is in order.

My experience was not good. I have visited the store several times previously, bought my last pair of glasses there which I love, and always had great customer service from a young lady. Today, I was waited on by a young man who made me feel like it was such a bother to wait on me. I was the only customer in the store. He was NO help, answered any questions curtly, told me he couldnt do things that in fact someone in the store told him he could do (e-mail me pics of two frames on me), and just generally offered no customer service. I really liked both pairs of sunglasses I tried on but now I dont want to go back again. If I do, I will definitely avoid him.

Amazing customer service in and out of the store. They couldnt have made things any easier for me. Had my brand new glasses stolen on a recent trip to San Francisco and reached out to them. They promptly replied and told me they would replace my stolen glasses free of charge! Definitely will recommend this company to friends and family.

Have been looking to buy a nice pair of glasses, did some research online and saw a pair made by Warby Parker. Went into the store and tried on many pairs of glasses never was helped while two ladies stood behind the desk end up getting a pair because I really liked them although horrible customer service.

I love my Warby glasses! They were really easy to deal with, the doctor was a really nice guy, and the glasses were super affordable for the quality. One warning- they wont fill expired prescriptions, so an exam may be necessary. Threw me off, I didnt realize my old one was SO OLD.
