I wish they had better customer service. An employee greeted us, and that was about it. No help, even while we approached the counter a couple times, letting him know we were interested in purchasing a PC. Asked several question in regards to laptops and other services they offer, employee seemed annoyed and as soon as other customers entered, we lost his attention and he moved on. Awful customer service. I was really hoping for this to be my one stop shop for future purchases. Employee didnt really know info on any computers, was guessing, with little intention of going over checking specs for us. I thought most of the equipment was over priced, with the exception of cables/cords... if you lost a computer cord you can get them their for a buck or two. Its a bummer, I was kind of excited to go there, not what I expected... and probably not going back. Just my opinion. :(

Surplus Exchange has excellent customer service and the company is all about helping youth in the KC area. My company has purchased three offices of furniture and the prices WOW!! I cant say enough about how fair Bob Akers and the rest of his staff are, all the way to the guys on top in the warehouse. Thanks Carlos and everyone back there. Its a great company who gives back to the community. Way to go Surplus Exchange.

I REALLY HATE THIS PLACE NOW. THEY ARE TRULY SOME DOG ON SCAMMERS FROM THE TOP TO THE BOTTOM. I BOUGHT SOME REFURBISHED TVs. And ecah 1 were defective. I try to bring them back and get the run around by the manager Carlos. YOUVE BEEN WARNED.

Ive never purchased anything from Surplus Exchange, but I have recycled here a lot over the years. Its almost unheard of to be able to recycle electronics for free.

Good deals on used/refurbished computers. Large selection of used office furniture, too. They occasionally will have an online auction, too.

Just recycled a hatchback full of old computers. They only charged $10 for the two old printers, and I got a VGA cable for $2!
