This has to be one of the WORST establishments I have ever been too... After one getting over charged for horrible food 6 months ago and swearing to never return again I broke down and met some girls after work for dinner and a drink as we were celebrating a birthday. That was my first mistake... You are more likely to die of thirst before receiving a drink then it will be the wrong drink- Boulevard Ginger Radler does not sound like Strawberry Abita... I finally settle on my tried and true drink of Makers mark on the rocks, and after years of being a bartender I am appalled when my glass arrives with less then an ounce and 5 small cubes of ice. I bite my tongue as I wait for my club sandwich. After dinner about an hour later I order one more Makers so I can actually watch the Bartender poor my drink from my table, and once again I am under poured for an on the rocks order at approximately an ounce but now a bunch of ice... So poor service later I ask for my bill and the Strawberry beer is on there... another beer... and my 2 makers marks which I was charged $7.00 + a $2.00 rocks charge so I am being asked to pay $9.00 for 1 ounce of Makers Mark and Ice... After complaining to the waitress a manager comes over and looks at my bill and says yes that is the charge for 2 ounces... OK that is great I was poured 1 ounce... he tells me that is not possible they use jiggers... ok not sure how that works but I watched her pour the drink and counted the poor and it was stopped just before an ounce count.... He actually had the nerve to tell me thats not possible and he wouldnt do anything about it and then walked away!?! I DO NOT EXAGGERATE HE ACTUALLY SAID THOSE WORDS WITH AN ATTITUDE!!! The sad fact is I work right next door & I will NEVER spend another dime in this over priced, poor service, nasty greasy food bar again and I will make sure to tell Every single one of my clients to stay clear!

all the bartenders and servers are hard working, attentive, people full of hospitality. Unfortunately the manager Jason is slowly killing business at that place. With his lack of leadership skills I have seen more fights pop up on his shifts that only been escalated to dangerous levels due to his inability to de-escalate confrontations that come with the territory of managing a bar. putting his staff (thats majority female) and guest in danger by refusing to call police when guest refuse to pay their tabs, or when fights occur between staff and drunk guest due to it causing "bad publicity" for him as being manager on duty. He belittles the guest, his staff, and gossips about his superior on the floor. he stays up there constantly getting drunk, giving his regulars free drinks, causing the guest to feel uncomfortable knowing hes manager there and hes so drunk hes doing high kicks at the bar. I dont see how the owner is allowing this man to run an establishment the way he is, but I for one will not be bringing my family back while hes a managing there. He is running that nice establishment straight into the ground.

These folks are so afraid of someone skipping out on their bill that they make you pay before your food even arrives. However, if they know you, they dont bother to do that. Which means, they cater to their regulars and treat non-regulars like second class patrons. I sat down and ordered a beer and was asked to start a tab or pay for the beer up front. I paid up front. A guy sits down beside me and orders a beer too. The bartender knew him and didnt ask him to start a tab OR pay for the beer up front. When I asked the tall, silver-haired bartender why I had to pay and the other man didnt he was short with me and said, "Would you let someone hold your money if you didnt know them?" If youre going to have a stupid "pay up front" policy, then you should enforce it for everyone, not just the people you trust. The people you dont trust wont come back. I visited regularly for over 2 months and finally got tired of being treated like I was less than the other, regular, patrons. I wont be back.

Been here several times, and it is a really nice place to go to if you want to relax, have a good meal, play pool etc. There are plenty of seats for dining, a good amount of pool tables (free pool everyday from open until 4pm with a $5 purchase), some dart boards, and a shuffleboard table if thats your thing. They have a lot of tvs to watch different sporting events. The food decently priced with $5 appetizers from 3 to 6 daily, tastes good and has a decent selection (I prefer any of the burgers). The waiting staff are all very friendly, including my usual waitress, Alissa, who always makes the extra effort to be friendly and engage in conversation with every customer when theres time. Overall great environment and place to go to have some fun.

This place has a ton of potential but the last few times we have been in were terrible. The place is HUGE! but on most night it is completely dead. Maybe 10 people in the whole place and only one or two servers. The servers and owners dont seem to care. Very poor service. The last time we were there they were vacuuming the floors all around us the whole night. The beer selection is fantastic, but the food is pretty sub par and way too expensive for what it is. I dont think they have any kind of real happy hour or specials. Even though its less than a block from my friends house, we probably wont be back for a while.

Very good food and large selection of beer. friendly and helpful staff as well. I often go there to watch sports games with friends. University flags from most colleges hang from the ceiling. However, Brass Rail needs to realize they are in SEC country. Not all 14 SEC teams are represented . Missouri and a few others are , but I suggest to the owners to recognize both regional conferences . Might not seem to be a big deal to some, but it would make the sports theme complete. Also love the location. Great location. Right off 152 HWY.

This is the second time that my kids and I have went to play pool and get some food,but my kids get harassed by the staff to the point where they feel unwelcome the sad part is they are 26 ,23, and 16 I called this morning and spoke to Daniel who told me that kids are welcome until 9pm. (That are under 21) well I guess that is only if you are drinking or getting drunk. Well thanks but no thanks you can keep this place we will not be returning and I will make sure to tell everyone just how we were treated.

Watch out for MMA nights, a collection of Kansas Citys most select "white trash" gathers here wearing their TAPOUT shirts and walking around "flexing" when an attractive gal walks in or after theyve had 2 beers, whichever may come first. Plenty of pool tables and a shuffle board table that "sometimes" works. I gave it 3 stars because its next to my buddies house and the shuffle board table happened to be working on my last visit.
