Wow! Let me just start by saying...St. Louis Auto Stop has the best selection of luxury vehicles and classic economy vehicles of any car dealership I have ever been to. A few years back, I visited their car lot with my mother so she could pick out a car. But when we got there, I couldnt help myself but to look for one for myself as well. We visited with car salesman Shawn Moody. I loved his enthusiasm and passion for what he does. That very day, my mom purchased a "like new" Toyota Camry which was easy on the eyes and gas tank. I as well fell in love with a stylish and gorgeous Chrysler 300C with a Hemi engine (fully loaded)! We couldnt have been happier! Both of our cars have stood the test of time and I can happily say we have not made one repair on either vehicle in 4 years. Just the other day we returned to Auto Stop to visit Mr. Shawn Moody yet again!! This time, my boyfriend in need of a new car. It honestly didnt take long until Josh came across the perfect vehicle. A beautiful "like new" Chevy Malibu, "fully loaded" with tinted windows, sun roof, heated leather seats, blue tooth, satellite radio, and the list goes on! I mean, wow! What a sleek looking vehicle...which did I mention, had only like 10,000 miles on it! The price we got for this vehicle was unreal!! So I found myself yet again, just along for the ride so my boyfriend could pick out a car but it didnt take long for me to get into the spirit of things...I mean seriously...their selection is unreal! So I decided to buy another car and trade in my 300C. I ended up with a gorgeous "fully loaded" Ford Edge Limited. It even had touch screen navigation which Ive never had before. I dont know who was more excited, my boyfriend and I or the sales team at Auto Stop, especially Shawn Moody! And the best part was...all four times my family, boyfriend and I have traded in our vehicles...Shawn gave us over the trade in value for our cars. I will never again just buy 1 vehicle, from now on its in pairs of 2! Seriously...if you need a car or know someone else who does, please stop bye and see Shawn. He is so passionate about what he does and I will never visit another dealership other than Auto Stop. Bad credit, No Credit, or A+ Credit rating...go to Auto Stop. Shawn also offers cold hard cash referrals every time you send someone to him and they buy! Its a win/win situation. Also, a big thank you to James, the finance manager who really made things happen for my boyfriend and I. He worked diligently even on his day off to make things happen! This car company is not to be trusted. They are leaches and they will try to screw you out of your money without you even walking away with a car. My wife and i experience what i would say the worse of the scum of the earth from thses guys. We were buying a 2006 Mercedes from them and found out once we purchase the car that the airconditioning was not working. They told us to take it to a shop that was down the street form them and come to find out they own the the shop. They called us up and said that the it would cost us $1600 to get the car repaired and we hadnt had the car for 2 weeks. Th dealership stated that they was not going to put any money in it so we went to retrive the car and they wouldnt let it go. So we called the police and had them to meet us up there. Thats when we found out that they not only own that business but they own several of the businesses that are up and down Lindeberg. We gave them a $500 deposit and $3000 cash down. We went back there to get our money since they woiuld not relaese the car. The financing company contatced us and told us that they messed up the paper work and that they wouldnt accept the loan unless we went back in and sign some more papers. That wasnt going to happen. So they refused to give us our money back. We had the Police to meet us there and they tried to say that we gave a full deposit of $3500 so they fold the paper so that the Ploiceman and my wife and i could see that it didnt include the down payment. But we were persistant and we went to the City of Hazelwood and let them know what they were dealing with within their city.. the Nexty day the car dealership called us to come in and get our money back. If we had never went to that City meeting and let the people and the Politicians know what happened... we wouldve lost $3500 to these scumbags... Beware... they have several companies on that strip and they change there name quite often because of their shaddy practices.

Description: Horrible company who does not care or correct their mistakes I got a car from auto stop. They told me They would pay for my plates and no one contacted me until the day my plates expired. When I got to the dmv the check was for 140 dollars less and I did not have that on me. The dealership told me there was nothing they could do and that basically I just had to let my car sit until I could come up with the rest of the money myself. They did not help me at all they gave us a dealer plate when we had our first issue and had to have the GPS installed now they dont want to give us another dealer plate when the messed up on our check. I told Bill in the finance that if I drove a car with expired tags I would get a ticket and he did not care at all. They walked away from us and stopped speaking to me and my wife ans let us sit in the waiting area without speaking a word to us. Very rude people and they do not care about their customers. My car note is $500 and is suppose to have our plates in it. If you want a dealership who cares about you DO NOT GO HERE. We was supposed to have a warranty that covered repairs but when we had a repair they told us no. They promised to take care of all the scratches then they said they couldnt do that either. They make a lot of promises just to get you to sign.They also could not come up with a reason why they was short on my plate money. I showed them on the department of revenue site the estimate and they just ignored it.

Remembering How Horrible My Experience Was… At the time, I had own a dodge caliber and I wanted to get into a ford escape. So I went to this place thinking that it would be okay. The Sales person was nice guy, and had me take a test drive. Well we all went to the back and they did their numbers and their offer was for them to put me in a whole another SUV then the one I wanted to get into. Once that happened, I was not into making a deal. Then the sales person’s manager tried to get me to stay and when I told him no I’m good, he started using very disrespectful scare techniques when I was all but nice to them. At that point… I just wanted my keys back. I got them back but the sales person stopped me just before he gave me guy keys back and told me that I was disrespectful for wasting his time and that I should never do that again. Hold on… Really!? I’m the customer… no you all were disrespectful… and I will never see you all again. In fact NO ONE should ever go there to buy anything because they totally treated me like crap plus wouldn’t give me back my keys in a timely manner when I wanted to walk away from the deal. I now hate this place.
