I visited one of my favorite fabric stores today. Maggie was there and very helpful. Her selection is great and she loves to sew. If the "big stores" arent doing it for you, you must visit soon. Her fabric prices range from moderate to fairly expensive, but the quality is superior. Of course she has all the thread and findings that you will need to make beautiful clothing. If you are a beginner, begin here and do it right from the start. If you are experienced, you will not be disappointed with this store.

Maggy and the Sewing Lounge are wonderful! I am a beginning sewer and I am having so much success with my sewing projects. My garments are turning out great! Maggy has taken my measurements and has expertly adjusted my patterns to fit my body. The fabric from the Sewing Lounge is beautiful and has washed and worn really well. Maggy is a natural teacher and is generous with her knowledge. I am so happy and feel so good wearing the garments that I have sewn.

Maggy literally saved the day when we were making my daughters wedding dress. The fabric was giving me fits and time and patience ran out. An excellent choice for sewing instruction and fabric from a very experienced, patient, capable and gracious owner who clearly loves to sew! I cant even count the numerous times shes helped me over the hump on various sewing projects. I also like the wide range of fabrics she offers, but Im particularly impressed with some of the more elegant examples, especially her beautiful silks and specialty fabrics from well-known clothing designers.
