There is a reason this has such a good rating. During a small chunk of time I was taught sales tactics, so hopefully I can help break down what youll experience if you go here. They practice what I call Low Pressure Sales Tactics: I planned ahead plenty so I had time to make a good decision. I told them (when they asked the basics, like budget, timeframe, etc.) and they were willing to spend as much time as I needed. It turned out they were ready to suggest waiting a little longer to make sure they found the perfect ring for me. I knew what I wanted in a ring though, and it just so happened that the perfect ring for me was sitting there for me. I saw it one week, thought on it for a week while they looked at other options, and in the end I found a ring that had everything I wanted, and more. They also arent there to trick you. As the owner said when he came upstairs and chatted with me, if I felt uncomfortable about a purchase there, I wouldnt go back. He wants customers to enjoy the experience. I was offered coffee while different rings were explained to me. Gold vs Platinum, different karat sizes, natural vs CZ, all explained well. I checked various places online and everything they told me was right on. For example, at first I was thinking they were trying to upsell platinum with the following quote: "Platinum is more expensive because you are getting ~95% pure platinum. White gold has to be alloyed so in the end, you still have a quality metal, but only about 60% of it is actually gold." Spot on. Look it up. They let me look at it under a microscope, checking for any imperfections. I discovered that employees there who are trained to spot imperfections were in fact better than me at knowing what to look for. I was presented with many options, and they always kept my time frame and budget in mind. In the end, it was the fact that I read good things here and heard good things without them needing to put an ad on the radio every 30 seconds to get customers in the door that made me check out the place. It was right on the mark when a review said that you might get cheaper options, but cheaper service other places. It might be true that it was marketing by De Beers that made it a tradition to present a ring when proposing, but regardless it is almost expected now. They helped me find a ring Im very happy with, and I know my (hopefully! fingers crossed! I dont want to jinx it!) future wife will love it too. I knew what traditions I wanted to follow, which ones I wanted to avoid, and ultimately what I would feel the most comfortable with. They didnt pressure me at all to change my thinking and knew it was a big decision. Im now the proud owner of a fantastic ring. And if I did change my mind about that, I just need to stop in and say so. I hope I dont sound too happy because I dont want this to look like a fake review, but honestly it was the most pleasant buying experience I think Ive ever had. If there is any doubt, ask Michael about me. After all, he remembers the man who wrote the review that ultimately got me in the door!

As a newly, happily engaged gentlemen, I just had to hop on the site and spread my happiness AND satisfaction with Chad Cramer and RF Moeller. The recommendation came from senior leadership at BBY Corp. I was a little hesitant as I already made a connection with another jeweler, but I thought, hey, let’s do our diligence and shop around. Well, I am glad that I did! My Fiancée and I met with Chad Cramer at the St. Paul location, and instantly enjoyed our experience. Chad was knowledgeable, professional, and entertaining to say the least. Our timing was not the greatest as there was a large diamond convention in Vegas that weekend and our unique need for a special cut was nowhere to be found. Despite that challenge, Chad ordered a diamond in that fit our need. We left RFM and I immediately told my very special gal that if I had anything to do with it, I want to buy my ring from Chad. A week later, Chad called and told me that a number of diamonds are now back in the Twin Cities, and that I could come see them. I mentioned that I have a very busy schedule, which he responded with an out of this world idea! He told me he would come to me! So he packed up his stones, we met at my office, and he laid out the goods right there in the conference room. I made my selection and asked him to get the process started. (funny side note; I selected the very first diamond we saw on our first visit!) A week later, the ring was ready, and he once again offered to hand deliver it to my office. I proposed the following Wednesday, and it obviously went as planned! After 2 days, my love came to me explaining that her ring felt too tight. I sent a message to Chad, he returned to my office, picked up the ring, and had it back in my hand in less than 2 hours! Needless to say, my little princess was ecstatic with the turnaround! I know this review is long winded, but I want everyone to know about the entire experience, and that I cannot say enough nice things about Chad Cramer. Thank you, again. PHR

When it was time to start looking for an engagement ring, I didn’t know where to start so I asked around to several family members for advice. My father and brother-in-law highly recommended R.F. Moeller. Each had been referred to Bob Moeller and purchased jewelry through R.F. Moeller. I was hesitant because I live in California and preferred to work face to face with someone locally. After doing online research, stopping by the local mall, and a few jewelry stores to gather some information; I decided to contact R.F. Moeller and spoke with Bob’s sister Nancy. It was the holiday season and Nancy was busy. However, she made the time to speak with me over the phone several times and educate me on buying an engagement ring/diamond. I had many questions and Nancy was responsive, honest, and gave clear answers. Most importantly, Nancy proved to be an expert advisor. She listened to my ideas about the design of the ring and the right diamond. Then she helped me narrow the search and offered her experienced opinion so my vision would also be practical and realistic. Together we settled on the right combination of cut, clarity, color, and weight to maximize each dollar spent on the diamond. When I had questions on style for the band, she offered her candid opinion and allowed me to make the final decision. In addition to answering my questions, she helped me know the right questions to ask during the process. This was invaluable. Working with Nancy was easy, fun, and felt like a partnership/collaboration. Her level of service was excellent, even after the purchase. She put me in touch with a local jeweler for sizing and arranged to have the ring insured for the first year. The final result was a beautiful ring which fell within my original budget, but exceeded my expectations and dazzled my wife-to-be.
