I was at the goodwill on Sunday and found some bar stools however could not purchase them due to closing. I called the store on Monday and spoke to a manager who said he would put them in the back with my name on them so I could purchase them the next day. The next day when I went to purchase them they had sold them earlier that morning. I was very upset and spoke to another manager who asked if I had purchased them. I said no the manager I spoke with did not indicate I had to purchase them or I gladly would have over the phone. Then he tells me that they cannot accept payment over the phone. I am very upset, discouraged with management and lack of communication, respect, and unprofessionalism that was directed towards me for a mistake they made on their part despite what their policies state. I believe that all of the managers need to get on the same page.

Most Goodwill stores arent worth wasting your time on, but there are still some deals to be found at this one. By and large, Goodwill isnt much of a place anymore to search for those little treasures to make life a little better and your home a little nicer. Several years ago, they began raising their prices in order to profit from the trendy crowd who want to be hip and fill their houses with kitschy junk, leaving behind those who truly need to find bargains to help with their budgets. Now theyre profitable enough that theyve been building beautiful new stores to attract them in to buy the things donated to Goodwill by well meaning donors. I dont feel Goodwill follows the model of helping the disabled be productive and to offer the less fortunate affordable goods anymore.

I am actually amazed at how well my experience went! I went to Goodwill for the first time this past weekend unsure of what to expect, and they just blew my mind. Especially the cashier, Brittany. Most of my past experiences at thrift stores, which I have many, have been very unnerving. She was kind and we had a very pleasant conversation about life. She truly made my experience memorable and I plan to shop here again very soon. On top of everything, there were multiple people on the floor who were more than willing to help. Thank you Goodwill for hiring an amazing staff and a personal thank you to that cashier. I will continue my Goodwill shopping just in hopes to have another pleasant conversation with her.

As someone who goes there quite often, I love the employees. I see the same 3-4 people at night, and I enjoy them dearly. They remember me and talk to me which shows they care about who comes in and try to make their days better. The store is fairly clean when I come in but not always when its busy, which all stores are like that at a certain time. Only problem I have is the managers, I asked for one once and it took about fifteen to twenty minutes for one of the three that was in the building to get to me. Then they didnt even answer my question an employee told me what to do and they were very helpful.

The employees are awesome at this store they are helpful in every way possible always happy and cheerful I actually enjoy and look forward to each and every time I go to this store they are organized and clean and everything always seems to be where they say it is I also like being able to have small talk with some of employees with out them seeming like they dont have time to talk very enjoyable and I will continue to go to this store for a long time even if it us out of my way I would go to this store before I goto another goodwill thank you for your great attitude towards your job. about 3-4 mounts ago i application to them for 5 different jobs for them they did call me after 3 weeks for one position for a lower price that i need to live by. then i wait again 4 weeks later they call me with a lower price i felt mad that there not taking me serious. then i check my email told me that i did not qualify for the position. at that time i need a job so badly. now the website is a joke i cant find the job posting on there site. now the store, great people. but i wish they have more cooking where on shelfs. shop some where else for 2 use items and jobs stay away from them

This is not as nice as others in the area. The employees could try to care a little more about their jobs. Typically when a customer is standing at the counter with their wallet out instead of talking to your friend about your weekend its polite to check them out or at least let them know youll be with them shortly.

I would rate them higher but there prices have got to high in some cases they can be the same if not more then retail. Oregon goodwills have it going diffrent color tag sales dayly. Prices are also better...

Nice clean store with helpful cashiers. Its at the Johnson memorial drive exit (aka 101) off 169: in the Shakopee Town Square shopping center which has a road of its own that Google doesnt know about.

Pretty average Goodwill. Massive selection of clothes but I felt that it was maybe lacking in other things. Donation was a breeze here and everyone was friendly.
