My wife and I make every effort to shop locally - its one of our core values - so we shop at Monkey See Books instead of Amazon, were pretty regular in the local restaurants. Were huge fans of the Sketchy Artist, Sisters Ugly, the coop, etc. So, when we decided to get an XBox for the family this christmas, naturally, I checked out Echo DVD and Games to buy a couple of used XBOX 360 games, which I did. Turns out the game we bought used has a read error around level 6, and also wont copy to the hard drive. No problem, I thought, they had a couple more, and this happens to used games every now and again. The employee at the store accused me of damaging the disk and trying to swap it. I mentioned that it plays fine for 5 levels, but then freezes, and wont copy to the hard drive. He then accused me of trying to pirate the game (copy it to the hard drive and return it). Just completely refused to exchange the game for another one. Really disappointed.

Came in with my daughter to look at some games. As all kids do she started looking at some stuff and came across some lego pieces open and dumped into what looked like an empty cardboard box. She picked up one of them to ask me about it and the cashier got frustrated that she touched them and then quickly shoved them on the top shelf. If it shouldnt have been touched why was it on a shelf where kids could reach it? Why be annoyed when kids touch something in a game store? Other game stores have loved when my kids took interest in thingsin their shop and some gave even gone out of the way to ask her about games and what she plays. It just seemed that I was in a store where kids arent welcome, which is fine their is always other game stores like GameNGeek or level up games which are much more acommodating.

Im a video game collector, and was looking for some used game stores near my town. My Mom said there was one in Red Wing, and One in NorthField! My natural response was which one would take less gas. From Cannon to NorthField is about 20 min, and to Re Wing its 30. I went straight to ECHOS and Immediately I was greeted by fellow gamers and the very nice cashier. I couldnt find the Nintendo 64 games so I asked him the location. He showed me that they were basiclly behind a large shelf of NES games. I bought NAMCO Museum, Turok Rage Wars, And South Park. Very pleased with the service and the condition of the cartriges from this specific store. I would highly recommend it!f

Fairly new to the Northfield community, Echo provides a niche retail environment with competitive prices and a vast selection. I collect vinyls and am a movie lover, they have titles you just dont find anywhere. The kids, as a treat, enjoy picking out a Lego character, a Venus fly trap, or a novelty item. Echo also offers very reasonable prices for items they buy from their customers, compared to alternatives such as Game Stop. Thank you!

As someone who keeps very up to date on pricing I can say that this place is way way over priced. You can save tons on Amazon or even going to target their "used"prices are new prices at most any retail shop. The game pricing isnt bad, in all fairness its pretty reasonable. But as far as dvd/blu ray Ill just go somewhere else

Really nice store for game controllers and games and if you ever encounter any problems which I rarely ever have they are good with returns and will give you a full refund or a replacement item. Way better then buying classic games online!

Best place to get retro games, as well as games now. I swear for gamers it will be like a trip down memory lane with all the old classic games they have. My all time favorite videogame store ever.

Its pretty good best game place in northfield some games are a little pricy but that just might be me cuz im almost 12. But its worth to and all games ive goten worked fine

Got a used Pokemon Gold cartridge. They do the soldering work to replace the battery in house, and prices are comparable to online vendors. Love it!
