I live in Central Wisconsin and visit the Cities several times every year. I always make a stop at Know Name. There are stores with a lot more records and a wider selection, but Know Name *always* has something Ive not seen elsewhere and need for my very large collection. Ive never come out empty handed in probably 8 or so visits now. Staff seems nice enough, though Ive never interacted with them beyond handing over my debit card. Its obvious that they love records and strive to find interesting selections for their customers.instead of just stocking the same crap everyone has.

Always enjoyed having this place in the neighborhood. Id buy vinyl and various items a couple times a year. Went in yesterday and saw the Donald Trump "Make America Great Again" hats for sale. Asked the guy at the counter whats up with that and he made is sound like they sell, so were into it. Ill never spend another dime at this store.

These guys are great and they conduct their business in a very respectful and professional manner. There are some things one can buy here to which could draw judgemental eyes but I have never felt such judgement being cast upon me. Hands down, best business of its kind.

Wow i didnt even shop here, and the cashier came out screaming to move my car when half of the car lot was empty, wow, so much for treating potential customers, i be sure to never spend a penny at this place, anyways who buys CD s anymore

Best place to go for what your needs are. Friendly staff all shifts. They will help you out in any types of music you want to hear. the salection on pipes and water bongs. Very reasonable. And the only place I found that have oils.

Just an ok record store, but a nice headshop. Concert tickets for several local venues and a good selection of disc golf equipment can be found here too. Employees are helpful and courteous.

This place is a minneapolis staple. Everything you could want from a record shop; music of all kinds and formats, "tobacco devices", hackey sacks and Led Zepplin t-shirts.

Great record selection for a local shop. Definitely go pick through the discount bins of you are not an audiophile/snob. I cant believe what I have found for $1 here.
