i have tried out this store multiple times and still it has been less than stellar. the first time, i politely asked the staff person about "hem tape." as a very inexperienced sewer, i didnt know exactly what i was looking for. she tried to help but when i didnt find what i thought i was looking for, she seemed offended and shocked that i didnt know what hem tape was. recently i tried again, to no avail. a selection of fabrics and knitting supplies, but NO other crafting supplies. no jewelry making supplies, no painting supplies and the fabric selection is small. nice to have organic fabric options but with an extremely unfriendly staff i wouldnt spend my money there. its too bad, because i live in the neighborhood and i want to support a local business, but the snooty, hipster staff needs a makeover.

This is the best fabric store in the cities! Ive purchased fabric both online, over the phone and in person. The service is so friendly! I found this store by searching high and low for an older line of Amy Butler fabric online and I am so glad I did. They still had bolts and bolts in stock and shipped it out quickly. I love this store!

Awesome selection of fabric, including organic products. The only complaint I have is with one of the classes I took. It was extremely informative and I enjoyed it, but the materials list I was given when I purchased admission to the class only listed the fabric Id need, not that Id have to bring my own notions. Kind of frustrating.

I could not find an Echino fabric (raspberry ladybugs), and looked everywhere online....or so I thought. A friend found this site for me, so I ordered my yards, and I was so impressed by the communication and shipping. The product was fabulous and they were very friendly. I would not hesitate to buy from them again.

A little treat for myself is to come to Crafty Planet to get some upscale yarn and browse the insanely cute fabrics. You cant get fabrics like this anywhere else. The prices are higher than JoAnn but seriously, when you see some of these prints, youll know why. NEVER CHANGE CRAFTY PLANET!

Crafty Plant tries to do it all and does it mostly pretty well. I like their selection of fabrics. The yarn selection is ok, and competitive in price. The needlework section is very small, but thats to be expected. You can find helpful staff, great patterns, and ok classes.

I love the fabric and yarn selection! There are so many wonderful designs. Also the yarn selection includes affordable options. The people working were very friendly without hovering. I have devoted my fabric buying primarily to this local store.

This shop is a crafters oasis. They recognize talent in fabric designers, crafters and pattern makers so when you walk into the shop you experience their inspiring sensibility and friendly attitude. You will find yourself coming back for more.

FAVORITE FABRIC STORE OF ALL TIME! If you are in the cities at all and love to see you have to go see the amazing fabric!! But bring lots of money because I definitely leave with 100$ worth of stuff everytime!!!!

One of the few places that carries more "funky" designers and contemporary fabrics. Wonderful staff who are very helpful without being pushy. Great selection so its easy to spend some time in there!

Very helpful staff. Needed opinion on repairing fabric in my car and they pointed me to "jeans" thread and a curved tapestry needle which worked out great.
