This mall would be nice if it was more modern/renovated and brighter. Sadly some stores close then some new ones open and some of the new ones that open are alright. Some live music and such would be nice here and there? I know they do it once in a longggg while..? This mall is a convenient mall to stop by and walk and shop for a bit. The food court is alright.. sometimes I dont have the motivation to eat there but I still do once in a while. Its nice that they have outlets to charge phones and such in some resting areas. The arcade is alright, wish the tickets wouldnt be so little value to get things.. but thats how arcades are. Itd be nice to get the kids play zone updated some.. otherwise.. dont spend too much time here or youll get tired of being there haha. The selection is alright if you know how to shop but if youre picky then dont go and criticize the mall lol.

Maplewood Mall is nice, but is struggling to maintain itself with such a high turn over rate in the food court despite it being really nice and kept up. On average 5-10% of all stores are closed down. Not enough to scare people and investors away but its enough to notice. The Sears is really good despite what people say about Sears company as a whole, but its a sign of how outdated Maplewood mall is becoming. The retail space outside the north side of the mall has suffered heavily in the last 10 years and that might of hurt the mall itself during the recession. It hasnt fully recovered since 2008, and while some say the success of this Sears location and the overall growth of the region around the mall signals a revival, I will wait and see. In conclusion the mall is very nice and is a mixed bag of success and decline, but it deserves your attention as a shopper.

First time here, very uncomfortable feeling. Came in through the side of Sears. Without much signage to direct consumers we went into Sears but the mall was on the back side it ended up being more like a dead end. Check out Sears for a little bit until we finally found the entrance to the mall. But location is so important, that this mall surprisingly mirrors Brookdale Mall in Brooklyn Center which closed a number of years ago. It seemed neat, that they have a carousel merry go round in the mall and a bungey jump. But I cant explain why it was just an uncomfortable mall to be in. Dark, dirty, and unappealing. Lot of large anchors though including Macys. Wont be back.

Mall maintenance is a joke. The mall security is a bigger joke. The people that run this mall is a joke! They dont seem to care about the stores and workers in this place. They dont care about the environment or safety our workers or customers are in! There was a bomb threat why wasnt the whole mall shut down or evacuated?! Whether it was fake or not?! Because they care more about money then the people. As a worker here, I dont feel safe or welcomed here. Also, I hope one day they actually care about those Purple Heart parking spots. Because they let anybody park there now!! I hope this mall gets it together soon.

Looks nice, very clean. Youd think its a great place to shop, until you meet the people in most of the stores. Pizazz purses for instance, the person working is more concerned with eating their chips and playing with their phone than answering customer questions. Kiosk operators, walk away to chat with friends while you are asking them a question. Teavanna is the opposite, great service, friendly staff, eager to help, they ask their friends to wait a minute so they can help customers. If you are coming for Teavanna, you wont be disappointed. The rest comes off as a polished Christmas turd.

they are hosts to a slew of terrible business that practice horrible "standards" of service! have a dispute with pricing or terrible service? DO NOT TRY TO GET YOUR MONEY BACK!! they will call the police on you and you will be threatened by security!! Folks may read this and think "isolated incident" but be warned! willingness to practice mistreatment of a few could balloon to the many! be aware of who you do business with!!

I remember this mall back in the day. It seemed that the mall owner had cared a lot more than now a days. Stores closing left and right. Not much of a selection is left. They use to have events to bring more people to the mall. Such as art craft shows, small business coming to the mall and show product. The mall is just a weekend mall now. Mall management to to improve a lot.

Worse experience at Footlooker ever they harassed my father and disrespected him as a Veteran of the United States this awful experience was from their cashier Amareya. Tran:337372 8/13/17 @ 5:45pm. This should never happen at Footlocker at Maplewood Mall or at any Footlocker. Staff should never treat paying disabled Veterans in this manner.

They have a Panda Express! We come here because my son loves it. I recently tried Greek Way and the food was tasty too. I would eat there again. And Taste of Saigon opened with good looking Ban Mi and Pho. I will try that next time! Also the mall offers family friendly activities which appeal to us. Nice place to spend a little time.
