I had no idea this Hmong Marketplace had opened in our old neighborhood until we visited over Christmas. Its larger, and potentially more interesting, than the Midtown Global Marketplace, although its more focused toward the needs of the local Hmong community than curious tourists. Ive been to a number of local markets like this around the world and this one compares nicely. Its clean, vendors seem organized into areas based on what theyre selling, and there are nice sized areas for fresh produce and prepared foods Prices are a bit higher than I expected in a market like this, but it is in the Twin Cities, so maybe thats to be expected. I also wasnt comfortable "haggling", which may be expected. Overall, definitely worth visiting

Best place for a quick, hearty meal on a budget. The food court is the best in all of the Twin Cities! The shopping center also boasts many family-run, unique shops with gifts, clothing, shoes and more. Its a great place to shop if you want something thats different than what youd find at a mall. You can also get services like computer repair, photography, taxes and others. A truly authentic ethnic gem!

A great tiny market to experience Hmong culture without having to go to a Hmong Tournament or New Year. Food is great, but dont forget to bring cash if you want to eat! Also there is a small farmers market (and other stores) inside with great deals. Most of them speak English so dont be afraid to purchase something! Would rate it a 5, but the parking is something else.

Great place for Hmong food, fashion, and culture in general. Bring cash, though! Many vendors dont accept credit cards, checks, or Apple/Android Pay. If youre from out of the area this will give you a crash course for the Hmong people. That said, its disorganized, dirty, smelly, humid, and parking isnt that great. Get the pork belly, Hmong sausage, and sticky rice!

Great food, and the vendors are very friendly. Fun place to eat, my recommendation is pho, Hmong sausage with purple rice and stuffed chicken wings. All the vendors ha e these things and all have there own take on it, so try them all. This is a place e the kids looking e as well so we end up here a couple of times a month. The farmers market in the back is good too.

Great hidden gem! If you love Hmong and other Asian food, this is the place to go! It is an entire market place including a farmers market, countless little shops selling DVDs, jewelry, clothes, etc and many great small restaurants that will prepare giant servings of freshly made food at a great price. Cash only, but they have ATMs. Try Pho or Spicy Papaya Salad!

Well, I love this place for the foods and its part of the Hmong Asian community in the Twins Cities in Minnesota. I often go there to see things and see all the new faces of my Hmong people and meet friends and family of lost contact. Hmong Village is a place to gathering the folks, young adults to meet and growing business in future and generation to come.

I go here for the "Two Wives Kitchen" when I can for her Vietnamese pho. Its literally the best pho Ive had since Ive moved here a year ago. If her place wasnt in the corner of the cafeteria is. Theres another pho spot there thats pretty good also, but the "TWK" and the nice lady that works there is who I look for each time I have that pho craving.

Great place to get your Hmong food cravings satisfied. Just be ready for small aisles where you have to dodge and weave through people who dont know how to walk in the right lane of traffic and people blocking aisles because theyre kids arent cooperating or theyre chit-chatting with friends. Prices are normal, service is slow but worth the wait.

This place... Oh my goodness! Its like the vendors are all in collaboration to window dress this place,or booth vs booth. It looks great! So much selection and two full floors of it! Way more affordable than driving to stillwater. Staff is friendly and knowledgeable on all things historical. Go. Go now!

Try some great Hmong food while supporting small local businesses! It is really cool that they repurposed a warehouse as a marketplace; its like stepping into another world. The portion sizes are VERY generous. You can get a dish that will last you 2-3 meals for about $8. Im particular to the Pad Thai.

Been here so many time but most of time is for the food in the food court! There are a lot of Hmong food along with Lao and Thai food. The most delicious food that I always go for are the stuffed chicken wings! Highly recommended people to give the Hmong Village food court a try!

Love this place. It had everything. I go for the produce, the bubble tea, the great cell phone plans, cute cafes and food stalls. Theres a travel agent, an after hours clinic a beauty parlour, tax services. Its a warehouse turned enclosed open air market, and its amazing.

Everything you need in there. From food, photos, services to clothes. Very good atmosphere and nice people. You can shop for hours if you go with the wrong people. But very busy on the weekend, its hard to find parking spot. Definitely explore this maze.

Unique place, bodegas as far as the eye can see. Got a boba shake from one of the vendors, it was delicious. The prices are good and if you want some knick knacks you could fill an Olympic swimming pool a few times over with how many they had for sale

The food court has a variety of family owned vendors. Most vendors have similar items though. But, their combined selection is very good. In addition, the price is very reasonable. A great place to stop for Pho! The shops are a lot of fun as well.

Be careful with vendors short-changing you. All vendors there need to practice on money handling. You will never receive a physical receipt when you purchase anything there. No proof to back you up. Very poor business ethics here in Hmong Town.

Its a great place for good food, groceries and random things you might want. Parking is definitely an issue here since its always so busy! Overall a great place to grab some food and other things for yourself or your parents.

Love this place! For a quick bite of delicious food or an all day experience! I can submerse myself in the culture here as I have done in so many countries throughout my years of travel. Yet, its right in my back yard!

Great place to shop with excellent hot food vendors but can be difficult to locate a parking spot at times. 4 stars rating for now but if you give Ciaj Sia the dolly next time Ill bump it up one star to make it 5! Yay!
