Today was a wonderful day for me, just when I thought I ran out of options, I needed money really bad to pick up my medication,first of all when entering the store I was greeted by two very nice,and energetic young men.whom had smiles on there faces ,that alone was enough to turn my day around.but it didnt stop there knowing I had to pawn what I could to make thing happen as far as my health ,Im always at Pawn America pawning something to make due,Today was one of those days were I got a lot of attention from 4 of Pawn America workers.Lamar was the first to try to help me, by trying to figure out a solution to my problem as he was doing that and Stefen heard what was going on he tried helping, Then came a young lady name Carolain to help out, once Mariah the manager seen or heard what was going on she told the other co-workers to make sure I have enough to get my medication.That is why I only go to the Pawn America at 789 532rd. Ave.Fridley no matter what kind of day your having once you in to get a loan and those four guys are there you come out happy and with a smile. THE GUYS AT PAWN AMERICA IN FRIDLEY ROCKS!!!!!!!! Ive been coming to pawn america to sell and buy items for a decade now. Although my experiences have never been terrible, I solely come to this location as my experiences have never been less then phenomenal. The staff are all extremely friendly, professional, and efficiently fast all while not making me feel rushed whatsoever. I do feel I need to point out two employees Brian and Andrew who go way above and beyond the standard customer service approach. Theyre both so positive and personable that Ive came in to window shop and have ended up buying items after enjoying the company of those two and the rest of the staff as well. Overall they make me and Im sure many other customers feel like family. Furthermore Ill always come to Pawn America, specifically this location for as long as it stays open for business. Which I hope is indefinitely! Thanks! Yall rock! -Matt

I called in order to get a price for a pair of firearms that I wanted to sell. The associate that answered copped an immediate attitude and told me that he couldnt give me a price without seeing the item. So I responded with I understand that condition is going to be a major factor, but can you at least give me a range, to which I was rudely told that because they do not have a corporate pricing guide for firearms he could not. So I asked about my Xbox one to which he, again with an attitude, informed me that he could ONLY give me pricing over the phone because they have corporate pricing for game systems. Playing a hunch based on his rude demeanor, I called back with the same question and got a different associate. While he was not quite as rude, his only answer to my firearms was that he could not give me a price "because it is just not something that they do".

Had to sue these clowns before... Now one store blames city ordinance in coon rapids for not taking a federally issued passport for ID. They sent me to another store. Drove to columbia heights, the rude arrogant store guy then gives me a ton of random excuses about them getting fined and says its not ordinance it is state law and went on some bs rant about state IDs having to be updated by address. Another wasted trip and another rude employee. Next call is to find this guys name and then corporate. Im now spending more money in gas than the 12 bucks I was offered for these games. Good luck.

This location tried to steal my jewelry with a claim that I sold my stuff to them instead of pawning it. I told them theres no way; it was a training error on their part. When I mentioned my name being wrong on the form the employee who helped with the pawn said I could change it when I came back to pay on the pawn. Even the manager was unhelpful at best and insisted I had to wait several days before the "safe" could be opened and my items returned AFTER (of course) paying them. Dont waste time with this place. Please, save yourself the trouble and go literally anywhere else but here.

I came here to do a loan for the first time ever on a laptop I had, first when I cam I asked how the loan process went, the assistant coach by the name of Mariah explained in detail to me how the whole process went. I went home and grabbed my laptop to bring it in and when I came back she was also the one that was able to help me, she got me an extremely fair price and once again explained the process in full so I wouldnt have an questions. she made my first experience so nice and easy I will definitely be back.

Great selection gives this PA a three star review. Their staff is friendly but often unhelpful and the store is a mess. They dont keep up on price changes of their products and you need to look through everything to find the best deal (i.e. if you are looking for a videogame, look at EVERY videogame as you will often find two of the same one for the same system with huge price differences). For a pawn shop this place isnt bad, but you have to be mindful of what you are looking for and why you are there.

I was trying to sell my gold chain to a few different pawn shops and they all were low balling me and promising this is the best price in town, no one will pay me more! Wrong!!! I went to Fridley Pawn America and a lovely young lady named Mariah helped me out. She made my experience painless and she had great customer service! We agreed on a price that i was more than happy with. I will deffintly return to their store with all my pawning needs!!
