Possibly one of the worst customer service experiences I have ever had. Let me elaborate... I went in to buy a couch and a dining table set around the third week of September. The sales person was initially great and when he looked at the system he said that he could GUARANTEE me delivery no later than October 3rd, which was about two weeks away. Although I didn’t have living room furniture, I liked the product so I agreed. Now let’s fast forward to October 1st where I have still had NO word from Ashley about furniture. I called them and they said… it’s going to be pushed back till October 18th.. almost another THREE weeks away. I was extremely frustrated and asked if they could at least deliver my dining room set and if I would be charged extra for it. After another day I received a phone call that yes, they could indeed deliver just my dining room set and to compensate me for my pain it would be FREE delivery. Making a huge mistake, I agreed to this and took the day off of work since the only time they would deliver is from 12-3pm. The day of the delivery I began calling them at 2.30pm because I still had no word about delivery. I got pushed from department to department with no one giving me an answer. When I asked them to call the driver they said they couldn’t reach him. So I problem solved for them and suggested calling the other delivery man the driver was with…of course Ashley delivery let me know they didn’t know his phone number. Are you kidding me? This man works for you and you don’t have a phone number you can reach him at? My dining table FINALLY shows up at 5pm and I get no apology, no explanation and no follow up calls from Ashley. Then on October 18th when I was again.. GUARANTEED a couch, I called Ashley (since the concept of calling to update the customer doesn’t exist) and I was told that it would be ANOTHER week till it would be delivered. Furthermore, when I went to cancel my order they wouldn’t refund delivery because of the “FREE” delivery that had already been made. This basically means I am stuck waiting for them because I will lose $100 of the delivery fee. The phrase “free delivery” was a gross overstatement. To summarize: Terrible customer follow up Poor forecasting systems Unreliable delivery system Temperamental salespeople Good luck.

My overall experience here was horrible. The initial salesperson was not bad but form there everything went down hill. I had requested it to be delivered and when the delivery crew showed up they did not have a single clue what they were doing. They initially brought a bunch of furniture that we didnt order outside our door. From there the sectional we ordered was the next piece. The delivery men would speak in a different language to each other when we were trying to communicate with them. They then began to say how the furniture wouldnt fit into the apartment. Keep in mind that the delivery men didnt measure it or try to see if it would fit. Therefore we had to return it because they were adamant it wouldnt fit. The one "knowledgeable" delivery man estimated the piece to be 11 ft long in reality it was 8.5 ft long. At this point we were without furniture. I then tried to contact the manager to get refunded the delivery fee and have it brought back out by a different crew at their expense ($89) which is nothing considering we had ordered a $3500 couch. She refused and her only response was they were knowledgeable which they werent. I ended up returning the couch because I didnt have a way to transport it. I measured everything and it would fit. Why would I buy a couch that wouldnt fit?? OVERALL, THE MANAGER TRIED TO MAKE ME FEEL STUPID, THE DELIVERYMEN WERE NOT KNOWLEDGEABLE AND VERY RUDE. DO NOT SHOP HERE.

I have had a tough time working with this store lately. I recently moved into a new home and spent over $3,000 dollars on furniture here. Three weeks later I made another $2,000 purchase and had a horrible experience after giving this company a total of $5,000 out of my pocket. In the final delivery (second round of purchasing) I made the decision to return the bedroom set. Not only were the delivery/pick up personal very rude and unprofessional, they marked up my entry way wall in my newly built house. On top of this, while filling out the paperwork I had mentioned that customer service was needed and that I wasnt happy with the experience because of this. I did not sign the document and told them I wanted to speak with someone about the marks in the wall and the professionalism of this experience. The pick up crew made marks on my document as if everything was okay and said no customer service was needed. THIS IS NOT OKAY. now being frustrated I had tried to contact the deliver manager for a week and had no response. Its unfortunate that I had to experience this kind of service after spending $5,000 here. The paperwork was filled out by them as if everything was okay and not by me and I never heard from the delivery manager. POOR RAN PORTION OF THEIR COMPANY. I went to Slumberland instead and had the BEST experience yet.

Do not, ever, waste your money and time in an Ashley Furniture store!! My wife and I purchased a power reclining sofa and loveseat set 1 1/2 years ago. Within 6 months, the cushions were moving and collapsing. At the 1 year point, it was so uncomfortable it was actually causing me back pain. We purchased the extended warranty which is USELESS. The salesmen will LIE and tell you that it COVERS EVERYTHING that could go wrong after the cheesy 1 year manufacturers warranty expires. WRONG. It only covers damage such as staining to the FABRIC. Cushions that are shot, or unusable, frame or reclining mechanisms that fail, are NOT covered by the extended warranty. Nope, that would be "normal wear and tear" and therefore NOT COVERED by the extended warranty. We dont party. We dont entertain often. There is NO WAY that a sofa should last one year or less, used only by an adult couple. We are now stuck with a POS sofa and loveseat, thanks to the lying salesmen and lack of customer service at Ashley. In my experience, the features and looks are only skin deep with Ashley. RUN, DONT WALK AWAY. TAKE YOUR MONEY ELSEWHERE.

We did not have a good experience with this location. When we ordered the furniture, it was delivered unwrapped and it had oil stains and black marks on it (cream-colored couches). When I called to let them know, I was told to call back 4 times and they said that the manager would call me back, but it took him a couple of days. One receptionist yelled at me and told me that he might not call me back because she cant force him to and told me multiple times that she would not help me. Once the manager called, they replaced the furniture which was great, but then we noticed that they just left the same pillows that had the oil stains on them. I called the office and they said that the manager would call me (which again took a couple of days) and he said that I should call back a different day and did not help with getting it replaced. He did send a coupon in the mail as an apology (spend $600 and get $175 off..not the best deal especially when you just purchased furniture from them). Appreciated the thought though. This happened over one and a half months and I still dont have our new pillow.
