I am just disgusted with Walmart in Eden Prairie I was with a dear friend of mine and early Don hours of Sunday morning to catch the after Christmas clearance markdown not even been in the store more than 10 to 15 minutes we were approached by two Eden Prairie police officers in their clearance section near the front of the store confused is that we were as to why these officers would approach us they had stated that they were told by Walmart employees that we had taken something this was a very insulting not only have we just walked in the store but we are a fan of Walmart and I would have been we it is against your beliefs to steal or take anything or break the law in generalI told the officer I had no idea what this with this confusion was about and that we obviously were there just shopping before the morning rush . He took both Our IDS which was obviously He had no right to do but I need to sleep then being in law-enforcement we did what we were told he ran our names and checked with the store manager when he returned he had given his partner the IDs and said that we were free to go moments later they approached us for the second time asking if there was anything in my sweater I was wearing a very formfitting sweater which would make it very difficult for me to conceal any type of item I said officer I have nothing in my sweatshirt and I showed him inside my pocket and I pulled up my sleeves she said I am just the messenger and I said well at this point we will just leave the store if that is the case I feel very uncomfortable he told us that he apologized and that there have been a few previous arrest earlier that day in the store. I try to understand the officers were just doing her job however I feel very insulted not what are you embarrassed but I feel violated because the officers in the store employee had been completely judgmental because we were there at a certain time of day Im sorry I thought Walmart was 24 hours for convenience meaning rather it be at 10 PM 4 AM or 11 AM I should be able to shop when and where I want to. The manager clearly was in over his head end it is obviously into G deep with his managing position Walmart should definitely reconsider we left the store without purchasing a thing nor will I ever ever ever ever ever go back there

Really wish I could have left a zero! I called ahead to confirm that they had the tablet that I was looking to purchase, store associate confirmed that they had plenty in-stock so I made the drive to the Eden Prairie location. Upon entering the store it was very apparent that they were recovering from a busy pre-Christmas shopping day, merchandise is disarray everywhere, bare shelves, trash, and no Wal-Mart associates in sight. I made my way back to the electronics section of the store, there was only one employee working that I could see. I waited for him to help a few people that were ahead of me, when the associate asked me if he could help I told him that I wanted the Nexus 7 tablet they were advertising, he immediately told me that they were out and walked away. I called him back and advised him that I had called 30 minutes earlier and confirmed that they had them. I also had checked on the Wal-Mart website which told me they were available for pick up same day. The associate told me “that’s too bad, we have been out for a week” and again tried to walk away from me with no explanation. I asked to speak to the manager, he got out his radio and called for the manager, who basically told me tough luck and that inventory #s are always way off. I believe he said their inventory said they had 5 of them in stock. No explanation how the inventory could be off by that many. After 30 minutes of frustration I drove to the Shakopee location about 15 minutes away. It was night and day difference. As soon as I entered the store there were associates cleaning up the store and re-stocking the shelves. I was greeted by employees and once I made it to the electronics section I had the tablet I was looking for and was on my way home in under 15 minutes.

The customer service at this location is extremely poor, or rather zero service...The phone will ring off the hook, and when someone does finally answer, I was disconnected twice. After several attempts of trying to get thru by phone, I received unprofessional and rude service and put on hold for very long periods of time, then to be disconnected again... To top it off, when I visit the store in person, the employees stand around and talk in Somali or whatever language and do not appear to be working at all. When you ask for help, they cannot speak fluent or clear English, or are too lazy to even want to help. I used to shop here all the time, but since the remodel, this store went downhill in the worst way. Plus at times this store is dirty, scaled down on selections and stock, and blocks aisles with boxes or pallets preventing you from getting something you need. Save your gas and time and shop at a different Walmart. I even spoke with a manager at this store because of the lack of customer service, and even he did not handle my concerns in a professional or caring way. Normally, I am NEVER a person to write a review on anything, but felt very compelled to warn others about this store. I have heard from friends, neighbors, etc... the same scenarios. The EP store should be SHUT DOWN and turned into Skyzone or something. The employees are unacceptable there... Shameful...

Im giving five stars at Walmart based on my experience today, however, the store itself seems to need more work on customer service in general as far as efficiency goes. However, today I returned a TV that I bought from Walmart as a birthday present for my husband, except that there was no power cord for the TV. I had the receipt but of course, lost it somehow. I knew this might be a problem when I went to exchange but I was hoping that since it was an even exchange, they would just give me store credit. At first, they would not let me exchange without a receipt as they have a policy of no exchanges $60 or over (if I had known this, I would have worked harder to look for the receipt.) I explained there was no power cord and to please make an exception. At first it looked like I would be the loser but then the manager stepped up and approved to override the policy for me. There was a little more hassle of needing additional approvals and then there was someone who challenged the approval, but everyone fought hard for me and already put the new TV in my cart while they were arguing for me. Truly appreciate their consideration here, and I will in the future make sure to have a receipt! Lesson here is that if you try to keep calm and respectful, you will usually get good results.

I am a extremely disable woman who visits this location about 4-5 times per week. I use their electric carts each visit provided that there is 1 of only 3 available. This day I only went to buy a few things 1 of which was cat litter. I BARELY got the heavy 38 lb litter box into the cart (having a 10lb Dr ordered weight limit) paid for my items and took said cart to the 1st handicap parking spot nearest to the door and struggled to get the box of litter into the cargo space of my vehicle and parked the car where the cart staff could clearly see it as to not have left outside for long, only to have a screaming hostile MANAGER come over to me yelling that the carts are for store use and drives the cart back into the store then come back out to look at my plates and plackard for who knows what yelling again. Well if I was able to carry the litter out to my car of course I would have. Myself alone spend 1000s of dollars there every month and so does all my family. He should not have treated any customer that way let alone one clearly disabled. What happened to customer service and care? Well this manager clearly has forgotten who really is the one paying his salary, we the consumer! No
