After seeing the great reviews online, I went here to get a new phone. The staff were friendly and told me my phone needed to be ordered but would arrive by Tuesday, in 3 days. Tuesday came and went with no phone. Assuming it was just taking awhile in the post, I didnt call until Thursday. Thursday, I called around 5pm and left a voicemail because there was no answer. A few days went by and no one called me back. Saturday, one week from original visit, I stopped in to check the status to see if it had shipped and if it was on its way. There were a few customers already in the store getting help and only one employee. I had a lot to do that day and couldnt wait around. Called again in a few days, only to be told, the phone was probably on backorder and that it was taking a long time for phones to arrive. Stopped in on Friday, thirteen days from first visit, to check on the status of the phone. After several minutes checking, the staff discovered my account had been accessed but the phone had not been ordered. I decided not to waste any more time with them and I went somewhere else to a new phone. This place is probably worth a shot but hopefully others do not have the same experience. The staff are nice and friendly but it doesnt make up for the time I wasted when I could have had a new phone same day elsewhere.

My daughter was away at college and was ready to upgrade her phone. She went to the Verizon store in her college town for the upgrade and was told she would have to upgrade her plan if she were to upgrade her phone with them. They also told her she couldnt trade her old phone in to them. Since I had great service with this Eden Prairie store in the past, I contacted Pat again to verify my daughter could keep the same plan. Not only did he verify that, he also informed me of a rebate and the trade in opportunity which essentially made the upgrade free. Additionally, Pat overnighted the new phone to my daughter at school and helped her set it up over the phone once she received it. This was above and beyond my expectations. Thank for showing me what personal service you get from a great local business!

I bought a new phone at this location this week, and was blown away by the professionalism, knowledge, and friendliness of Mary K. Though the store was busy, she took the time to answer all my questions and make sure I got the right phone. I have been a Verizon customer for a long time, but have never had such great service. I will go to this store for all my cellular needs. Mary exemplifies what a salesperson should be. G

Radio Shack didnt have time to do simple upgrade, nor did they have the phone. Verizon in Chaska didnt have the phone and the salesperson had been drinking at 10am. Ross at Shock City upgraded us with the phone we needed in 20 minutes! Professional, courteous, sharp: 3 words you dont usually use when dealing with cell phone places. Shock City is the only place Ill ever go to handle my Verizon biz!

I recently bought an iPhone 6 from Pat at this store and he made the process super easy. Not only did I get a great deal on my phone but he found a new plan that saved me $40/month vs my old plan. I know where Ill be getting all of my new phones and cases/etc from now on.
