I am only giving a 1 because it wont let me give a 0. Our experience with them was AWFUL. My fiancée purchased my engagement ring last April. He proposed in mid May which is when I started wearing it. It was beautiful! It was a circular halo and I loved it. My fiancee paid good money for this ring and we expected quality. Well....first we had to take it in to them in August because the center stone was loose. Joseph, the manager, argued with me and said it was fine - until I walked over there and he touched it and the diamond spun in the setting. He then told me that not only was that diamond loose but there were 5 loose in the band! They fixed it for me and all was good. Until October....the ring broke into two separate pieces!!! I work behind a desk answering the phone and typing so no strenuous activity. Turns out a diamond fell out which weakened the already thin band. They ended up casting a brand new ring (I had told them that I preferred to exchange for a different setting because I was fearful this could happen again). Got the ring back in November. Now here we are and the band has lost a diamond! I spoke with Joseph and someone at corporate and both were extremely rude. They wouldnt listen to me or my frustration. Joseph kept interrupting me and at one point even stated "I dont design the rings, I dont produce the rings" so therefore youre not responsible for correcting the situation of the ring you sold?! I told them that that they could have their ring back and I wanted a full refund. I was told I "would not get my money back". There would be no refund and after inspecting the ring, theyd just cast another. They are not in the business of doing right by their customers and could have cared less about what I felt or had to say. I got off the phone with them feeling more upset! This "business" is a joke. I do NOT recommend them to anyone. At this point, I would rather throw the ring away than have to wear another one from them or have to deal with them ever again!

GREAT EXPERIENCE!!! I HIGHLY recommend the Jewelry Exchange in Eagan! Ask for Joseph, he is AMAZING! He will help you find (or design) exactly what you are looking for, while being completely honest, professional, and never pressuring you in any way. My fiancée and I were on a budget when shopping for our wedding bands, but we both still wanted to get a unique and very nice set of rings. They had a great selection, and were extremely helpful in getting us rings that were better than ALL of their competitors in BOTH quality AND price. We are completely satisfied with our purchase; I ended up with more carats than I ever expected, our diamonds are virtually colorless and so well cut that they sparkle more than any I’ve ever seen before, they also have no inclusions visible to the naked eye so they look nearly flawless--and we got it all for a MUCH lower price than anywhere else! If you are shopping for jewelry, you HAVE TO check this place out! Once you do some comparison shopping, you will NOT end up buying jewelry anyplace else!

I went in today, on a Sunday and Joseph and Cynthia were most accomadating. He resized a ring, for my wife, while Cynthia entertained me with future options for my wife. Tuesday is my 30th anniversary and getting it right is important to me. I only spend $1,800 on the ring but it is beautiful. I have read some of the other reviews in here and I can only say you get what you pay for. Yes, they sell $500, 1 carat solitaire diamond rings. And in my opinion, they look like $500 diamonds. Cloudy and lackluster.. However, this company is trying to let you make the choice and no one there is trying to hide the fact that more $$ buys better quality. Most places dont even offer these rings so the Jewelery Exchange is filling a demand for people that dont have thousands to spend but want to own a large diamond. Again, a great experience for me, both times I was in and I think I will be back down the road!! Just remember these people are there to make you happy. Give them a shot and they will!.Just let them know what you want!

Following a rookie mistake of not insuring our original engagement diamond, we were forced to purchase a brand new one after we lost it six years later. As a temporary fix, we placed a cubic zirconia in the original mount until it made financial sense for us to purchase again. Enter the Jewelry Exchange, as we had heard that the merchandise was plentiful and the prices were reasonable, which indeed they were. My husband paid his first visit simply to view their stock and was so impressed that he left with a strand of pearls for me for mothers day. (Lucky me!) My husband was additionally extremely happy with the service. I saw it for myself when we returned for our diamond and asked for Josh again. He was not pushy in the least and absolutely conformed to our needs both financially as well as to the type of diamond we were looking for. We are happy to have our diamond back and happy that Josh made our experience pleasant in finding the right one. Thanks Josh!

1st time I went the guy that helped me was not very helpful. I was upgrading my wedding ring and needed a band to go with it as well for our 5 -yr-anniversary. He told me it didnt need to be resized and didnt even get out the rings to help find a correct size. I bought a two piece set and he knew I was already married but still insisted that I dont solder them yet. He told me to give it a few weeks. There was also a slight language barrier which also made it difficult to communicate my wishes. I was upset about this especially after leaving the store and realizing the ring was defiantly too big. We live about an hour and 20 min away. i went back a few days later to get the same ring resized and then Soldered. The man who helped this time was AMAZING he was very knowledgable, thorough and friendly! He defiantly made up for that first trip that I was not happy with. I will defiantly go back but maybe call and find out Joshuas hours first.

I needed a copy of the description of the diamond for insurance purposes. The manager and a lady in the back round telling him what to say said it was a conflict of interest to give me that information. It is my diamond, my ring, but he said no he wont give me the information. Said what is on the receipt is what I have. I told him it doesnt have clarity on it, you have to have that information, what if it was stolen from your store? He answered with the same answer to all my questions-"it is a conflict of interest to give me the information on my ring". To have it appraised it will cost me over $200 more than the value of my ring. I am more than outraged at the complete and utterly rude service after the purchase was made. They can be assured everyone will hear from me to stay as far away as possible and that they are extremely unprofessional.
