We went here today, 3/30/17, to Building Materials Outlet off of Sibley Memorial Hwy. The first thing we noticed when we walked in was a sign that said: 1. No cameras or pets allowed in building. 2. Parents w/kids under age 15 have to sign a waiver. and 3. A 12% builders fee (?) is added onto your purchases? We came to look at the scratch & dent bathroom vanities--there were a lot of them. They are all very nicely CLEARLY marked w/Length & Height, which was awesome. They also have hot water heaters, washer/dryers, carpet squares, kitchen cabinets, wood pieces, sinks, large A/c units, faucets. Research your prices and make sure you are getting a deal. The vanity sinks were VERY reasonable.. from basic style ($35+) to Granite (starting at $250). The bathroom vanities--they even had new ones--in sevERAL different sizes and colors/woods. PROS: Very helpful staff. Clean place, Well lit, employees wear blue vests, so they are easily identifiable. Large parking lot w/clear lines. CONS: The faucets werent clearly marked--as in, no pictures on the box (like you know, how Menards or any other store has them), so you had to open up each box, which I find annoying. I would have LOVED to take pics on the inside, to share on my facebook page, OR even here, to show you all, but couldnt because of their sign at the front.

I bid on an auction last night. The auction closed at 7 p.m. I went on the website today and the auction was re-opened. Auctions should never re-open, regardless of the justification. Now the auction is open again and I will not get the items I bid on, even though I was high bidder at the close of the auction yesterday. When I complained they used the disclaimer from the website, saying that they could basically do whatever they want to protect themselves and the seller. Instead of doing the right thing and honoring the closed auction, they re-opened it. If you cant trust the auctioneer, why would you bid their auctions? Do not trust them.

Used to have alright deals I guess... not at all anymore. There customer service is non existent now.. and theyre manager kyle I believe his name is, is very un professional, I couldnt run fast enough out of that place for his customer service skills alone.. that goes to show theyll let anybody be a manager. if I could give this place 0 stars itd get it. If you want better deals and better everything in the area just keep going west on 13 to mn home outlet.. *on a side note for theyre management if you doubtfully ever read this maybe have your employees help the customers and a smile probably wouldnt hurt them either! !

The ONLY place that sells most materials at a fraction of a price. Seriously, some people have to get over themselves. Yes, you will not have store employees in matching uniforms jumping around you offering help. Yes, it is dusty, no pets are allowed. But you will pay $20 for a door instead of $80! For people on a budget: dont listen to these cry babies, people are so spoiled in US. I was shopping here for years. It is hit or miss , on a good day you can get everything you need for a full house remodel. Carpet, linoleum and lighting are average price, but woodwork, doors, windows are incredible deals.

Retail prices without the service and selection. Prices are fairly close to retail, but you cant return anything, they dont have multiples of things or selection of sizes. I was reprimanded for taking a picture of something. I wanted to see if it would work in my setting, but I cant take a picture? Go to Reuse Center by Habitat for Humanity instead-prices are better, service is great and you feel better about spending your money.

I just went there for the first time today. Found the window that i needed within 15 minutes. The big box stores were going to charge me way more than this price, plus it would take 2 weeks to get it. I dont know why people complain about not being able to return stuff...it clearly says that when you walk in. Lots of stuff there...will be back when I have more time. Glad my friend recommended this place.

I absolutely love this place. Every time you walk through the doors its basically an adventure. Because there materials are constantly being changed out. The prices are incredibly good. one word of caution one word of caution though, if you have small children you have to sign a waiver for them to be in the store with you. Because basically this place is one huge continuously moving and changing Warehouse.

I needed some cabinets so I stopped in on several recommendations. I was expecting prices to be a lot lower. They also tack on 12% premium. I bought the same cabinets NEW and undamaged at Menards for almost 20% less. A lot of hype and no "outlet" pricing. The only way to get a good deal is the auction site I guess. Staff was very helpful though. Im sure there are other deals to be had.

Given one price on items that had no price tag. Get to checkout and given a higher price. Felt employees on the floor friendly & helpful. Checkout employees were unfriendly, unmotivated to help & made you feel like you were wasting their time when asked a question. First & last time will go there.

The price for things is okay the price is mostly low due to defects somewhere. What i dislike the most about this place is i go to buy a 240$ vatiny top after the register it jump to 290$. Looking at the receipt i was charged with a buyer premium which the clerk never mention 29$ of hidden fees

This place used to have deals, but it no longer does. Prices are double what they should be for what you getting. You are better off going to a retail store instead. Youll pay a similar price at retail and you can return the item if it doesnt work.

Good prices on certain items, but you really have to examine the items to find where the defect is. To those commenting about the hidden seller premium fees, you must have missed the giant signs that clearly state this at the entrance.

Great place to buy second hand junk, the new cabinets although are reasonably priced are poorly made. I guess you get what you pay for and if you want junk this is the store for you

People keep talking about cheap prices. No crap, they are scratch and dent. Looked a flooring and much of the bundles are pieces you cant use. Be cautious when buying.

Retail prices on non-returnable junk. Apparently, they are still riding the wave of excitement from the great prices and opportunities that existed some 15years ago.

Nice place, big selection. But required a lot of time to find what you need. Prices about half off retail. Usually needed smal dents to be fixed.

Great for a rental or one-offs but thats it, mostly over priced junk and add 12% to all prices

For the condition of your stuff, and no return policy, your stuff should be a lot cheaper.

Spent less than 1000$ on my entire kitchen cabinets here. Cant find that deal anywhere!
