I purchased two Dimplex heaters 1/18 at the El Cajon Store...I had purchased one earlier in the year...and liked it. There was no paperwork, i.e., warranty, manual, etc. on one heater that was recently purchased; I called the store and spoke to a man and explained…he said since I had purchased a display heater, I would have to contact Dimplex for the manual etc. I asked to speak to his supervisor as he did not seem to be very customer orientated…he informed me that he was the supervisor. He laughed and said again that I would have to call Dimplex. I did not appreciate his attitude and the fact that I would have to “bother” with this after purchasing three heaters AND another reason for my call was to order five more units for my rentals. I looked at the Dimplex web page and noticed that Lowes carried their products. I called Lowes…they ordered the heaters and will have them shipped to my house; plus, they will also have the paperwork of the heater I bought from you sent. Now that is customer service…needless to say I will not be back to shop at Dixieline. Millicent

I took my makita tools in to get repaired. I was assured repeatedly that my repairs may be covered under warranty, and if they were not, they would call me, and ask my permission to go ahead with the repairs, along with informing me of the cost BEFOREHAND. None of this happened. Instead I got a call about 1 month later, saying I owed them about $100! I would not have written this review if it werent for what happened next... I went into the store and asked them why they never called me before doing the repairs or gave me a price? I also asked why the tools werent covered under warranty? Instead of apologizing for their mistake, they argued with me! At one point they threatened to ship my tools back to Makita and let me try to get them back somehow! Absolutely ridiculous! Not only that, but later I find out my tools covered under warranty! I never should have been charged a single penny! Now I am unable to get a refund. I will never go back to this store again, and I am warning all my co-workers about them as well.

I went in for some paint sample pints. The young woman who worked in the paint department was so slow it was like she was working underwater! She offered NO help or advice, and I did have questions she could NOT answer. The young woman at the checkout lane was rude and abrupt. I guess the fact that Im not a man and an older woman caused that. I headed right across the street to Home Depot. What happened to your store? I used to love your paint department! You carry excellent paint and colors. Now work on customer service!

Ordered expensive wall of sliding glass windows by Western and the best part was the installation team from MLK Construction. The glass sliding wall is beautiful, along with the other slider and windows that they installed. Beautiful job, clean,neat and professional. Its a pleasure to recommend such a good well run company. Everyone I have come in contact with at Dixieline seems very friendly. I just ordered a Milgard french patio door, from Tom and his service was excellent. He spent over an hour and a half with me picking out the door and answering every question I had, his dedication to his job and his attention to detail was evident. Had some initial problems with a special order of tile. However, John, a supervisor there, kept in contact with me, provided me options and was able to resolve the issue to my satisfaction. Sometimes you have to give a little to get a little! Next time I make some home improvement purchases, I will think of Dixieline first.

Always go to Dixieline first before I have to resort to Home Depot. Dixieline seems to have more US made products and more name brand products now that Home Depot has so many private label (house brand) products that are usually not as good. All staff Ive encountered has been great to me as a homeowner.

Absolutely no customer service. The workers see you need help and instead of helping you they ignore you or try to look busy. Not recommended. Would rather drive all the way to LA Mesa Lumber to get helpful friendly service. Dixielines customer service has been repeatedly going south.
