"Do you work with adaptive cycling?" I had stopped in at On Time bike shop and was getting a rearview mirror for my handlebars, which Gil installed while I waited. There was a three-wheeler out on the display floor, which caught my eye because our son had a traumatic brain injury in 2015, but we had discovered that he would be able to ride an adaptive cycle and had just received funds from Challenged Athletes Foundation that would be used for a cycle. Gil ordered the three-wheeler and a bike rack that could accommodate it. He let us know when they arrived, got them assembled, adjusted the bike rack to the hitch on our pickup, had Dave ride it around the parking lot so he could get the seat and chain properly adjusted, and is as pleased as we are that Dave can get out onto the trails. Hes been a tremendous help as were "exploring new territory" in more ways than one. A punctured tire is what first got us to On Time bike shop. Id just come off of the Rice Creek trails, took a bit of a detour to explore a side road (boardwalk, really), and as I crossed Lake Drive to head back home the front tire was suddenly quite flat. My husband picked me up and drove directly to the nearest bike shop. (Were new in the area.) "Its time for a tune-up anyway," we told Gil. He had it tuned up and ready to go that afternoon. Were regulars now, and have found that Gil has the work done when he says it will be done. Not always the same day -- there are plenty of other customers -- but he has been spot on with his estimates of when he will be able to get to a project.

So glad that we have a LBS with a knowledgeable owner/mechanic in our area. Very very happy with the speed of my mountain bike tune-up and the great job Gil did straightening my disc brake rotors, truing the wheels, replacing worn out cables, and adjusting my derailleur to smoothly shift between every gear. I will definitely be going back to these guys in the future. Its not often to find a such a great shop!

Gil is always so great. I brought my bike in for a tune up and it was a quick turnaround, he explained everything that he did and has offered to teach us anything I want to know about doing small repairs, like tire changes, etc. The tune up was affordable and no surprises on the bill. I love supporting local small businesses. Strongly recommended On Time.

Sent my daughter & grandson to On Time Bike Shop to get a part for his bicycle. The part wasnt on hand but the owner had the part at his residence. He went and got it while my daughter and grandson waited. In no time at all he was back, the part was installed and they were on their way. Cant say enough about the owners helpfulness!
