Terrible customer service! The employees are only kind to their co workers. The customers get attitudes. Rolled eyes. Rushed out of line and rude if u are too slow to check out! They over charged me the last 3 times I have been there ! The last visit i went to buy a pair of shoes the sticker in the shoe was $5.99. Went to the checkout she charged me $16 I told her how much? For the shoes ? The sticker says $5.99 she ripped the sticker out of the shoe and threw it in the garbage. Told me no way those shoes are not $5.99 then continue to argue with me they were worth it and would not void it. I told her lady! Its not the price anymore its the principle of what u just did was wrong. Take those shoes off my bill now! She continued to argue! I asked for the manager she laughed at me and said I am the manager how can I help you? That was at 15 mile and dodge park location!

One thing that annoyed me is that they closed an hour earlier than EVERY other salvation army in the area. I tend to go after my kids are in bed and by the time I got here I had 15 minutes. Every other store closes at 10. I have not had MUCH luck here either, but I also havent had the digging time I had at the other stores. What I have found was not toooo crazy in price. I cant say Ive looked at much furniture since none of it was my style. (they have a lot of 80s styles, I like more vintage/detailed) I have found tons of ledge shelving here for pretty cheap and accent pieces.

Crazy overpriced, sometimes inexplicably so. They must have an ape in the back slapping random prices on things because there is little to no judgment apparent in any pricing decisions. I think the most ridiculous item Ive seen thus far was a plain green ceramic vase, although decently sized (like maybe two feet tall), was 50 dollars. 50 flippin dollars for a ceramic vase. Many items you find here will be cheaper at the original retailers than this store.

This Salvation Army is like none Ive visited. Their selection is great. Super organized and their daily specials keep customers intrigued. The manager Ive seen treat her employees with such respect. Its wonderful to see. Love going there when I visit my son. Wish I had a store like this by me in Pennsylvania. Thank you for making my visits fun.

This place always have nice things. Its really big in here and the people are usually pretty nice (with the exception of a couple workers). I dont come here often, but when Im in the area, I always stop by because they have such a great selection of items. If you look hard enough, you will find some pretty cool things.

Totally agree with the previous reviewer. The prices are ridiculous. I could buy new elsewhere what they are trying to sell used there. Its especially obvious when you go to the other local thrift stores in the area.

What a joke. I applied for a position and put open to work all hours. They ignored me. Then I called and got yelled at on the phone. Why have "now hiring" if they wont even give a person a chance?

Prices are decent. Somethings are surprisingly cheap and look new, but you will find the occasional slightly over priced item. All in all, its awesome for jeans, shoes, and holiday decor.

Lol! That green vase is still there! I noticed it too! :) Yes, a lot of things are wildly overpriced (mostly furniture)....but if you have time to search, you may find a bargain or two.

Some things priced too high. Apparently some forgot the purpose of the SALVATION Army...to help, aid, and assist.
