I had purchased a set of breaks in late February of this year. Started to hear a squealing noise from passengers side. Took tire off thought maybe it was my new caliber nope it was the brand-new brake falling off. Completely warped! Checked the caliber to see if it defaulted and not one thing wrong which glad I got the caliber at advanced auto in Southgate and not auto zone which didnt have in stock at time needed. Politely called told female on phone what was wrong with the breaks she tells me theyll swap out bring them up. I did and manager in front tells me no and that Im just trying to get a free set of brakes even knows be see on receipt and box and computer that hello just bought these and they are defaulted. He said all well next time purchase a better pair that I get what you pay for... Never ever ever Will I myself or any of my workers or family purchase from Auto Zone again....

Unknowledgable and untrained staff. Sold us brake pads today without indicating that a special caliper tool is required to compress the piston back into the brake caliper. Luckily we had a second vechile to go rent the tool from OReillys. Epic failure for an Automotive part store. Your lack of knowledge nearly left a car tore apart and a person without transportaion. This was the final push we needed to start buying all of our parts from Advance Auto. They have also been sold out of our oil that we use on our last few visits. Far better places downriver to buy automotive parts and supplies.

Woke up to sub zero temps and had to be at work. The battery in my vehicle said I was staying home. I got a ride to work, called auto zone after work, got quoted a great price and they held a new battery for me. When I went to have it installed right after I called, I was told it would be at least an hour. Not happy. An employee that was helping someone else finished up with them, offered to put the battery in for me and the rest is history. He was awesome, my truck was better and I finally got to go home after a long day. Ill go back for service like that!

We were fortunate to meet "Chuck" on Sunday afternoon when the car was dangerous to drive for the family, non would repair it nor show sincere customer service anywhere but, the one who cared "Chuck" & his extra ordinary service, knowledge & multi-tasking....got us off the road happily on a safe vehicle, saved our time & money and also generated over $410 to Autozone business (if he wouldnt step-up to help, we wouldnt buy the parts from there!). Go there to get a tie rod for a jeep. The guy at the counter can get my part says a jeep dont have to outer tie rods on a jeep. Then is says he dont have time. Hes late for lunch. And leaves
