On a Thursday night I purchased a bottle of wine from Royal Liquor. I was with a friend and we were chatting while I made the purchase. Upon examining my debit card info the next Wednesday, I saw that I had been charged $111.73 for my wine instead of the real price of $11.73. Panic! I immediately called them to see how this had happened. The man I spoke to was named Eddy and he responded urgently to my request, finding the card transaction in their records and confirming the price. I went to to talk it out in person, and Eddy helped me by cross referencing the card transaction with the cash machine records (not an easy task due to volume). After confirming the mistake, he told me that he would speak to the owners the next day and assured me that I would get the difference back. I recieved a call from Eddy the next day at noon letting me know that my money was secured and that I could pick it up at any time. When I arrived there later that night, the person who had made the transaction with me originally was working and he apologized profusely. In the end, I was very impressed by the urgency with which they responded to my issue and the expediancy that the issue was brought to a positive conclusion for me. Thanks Royal Liquor!

A Private User

My first experience at Royal Liquor was a great one. There was a vast selection of different wines, alcohol, and pretty much anything you need to have a party. Isnt that the main reason why one would go to a party store? The staff is very friendly and helpful. I am by no means an expert on alcohol, in which the people working there have always happily helped me. The owner, a young man, is especially helpful and kind. On one occasion there was a certain type of wine I wanted and two days later it was there! Myself, among with many people who live in that area, will agree that our hard earned money is PROUDLY spent at Royal Liquor! Regarding the previous review, by no means are the staff clowns. They are very friendly and attentive. By implying that they are Arab is very discriminating, stereotypical, and juvenile. I heart Royal Liquor!

Walked in 5 minutes before close. I had some bottles/cans to return for deposit and was going to buy something. The people behind the counter said that since they were closing in a few minutes that they werent accepting returnables, which is against MI state law, by the way. If you are open and conducting business, you are bound by law to accept deposits. They said theyd sell me something, but not accept the deposits. I told them there was no way I was going to even buy something from them. Go to Wilsons. Theyre always reasonable.
