I have to say Im beyond surprised at the service I received in this store. I knew it was a good place to go and heard great things from others, too. But I needed some significant assistance as a single mother, and they went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of. This was repeated more than once; that they wanted to make sure I was a happy customer and had everything I needed. I didnt know people did business this way anymore! I thought it was a thing of the past. Hey, sometimes being a single mother, you can use some advice you can count on, and not from someone whose first interest is profit. In my situation, I get that a lot. It was obvious and plain to see that customer service was number one. I was reminded there are still decent people who care about more than their bottom line. You cant even find anyone in the large chains to help, never mind someone who will spend time and show genuine concern and interest in your project -- while saving YOU time! It just doesnt happen, and I cant be bothered with those places anymore! It is stressful to shop in the big chains, walking the aisles trying to find a person or an item, so why not walk out feeling it was time well spent (much more efficient in this store)? And that you are doing business with people who actually appreciate it. Dont hesitate, this place is as good as it gets. A sincere thanks to them, they made my life easier!

I always locate the hard to find items at this hardware. The other day I need a compression cap for a plumbing job that I was in the middle of and they had the right part. I explained what I needed and the clerk took me right to the bin and found it quickly. I was in and out quickly. Last January, I ran out of kerosene for my heater and found out my local Sunoco gas station was closed. I discovered A&G sells it and they even pumped it into my can for me. A&G has a customer for life!

A&G Hardware is great, it is one of the few places where you get personal attention to solve your home or auto problems. All of the staff are knowledgeable and give good advice on whatever i am working on. They always have that missing fastener yo need to complete the job, or any tools you may need. Thanks A&G!
