Very unorganized, not very clean, paid for an order online and went to the store to pick it up and was told we should have waited until they told us it was ready for pickup. Thats not how it works at Walmart unless it is being shipped. There is no good reason to go to this store unless the is a tornado bearing down on you, and even then Id look for an oil change place so you can get underground.

Kmart was the bomb in the 80s and I will always have fond memories of this store. Kmart used to constantly televise the Michael Jacksons "Thriller" video during the 80s in the electronics section. The cafe was outstanding especially during Christmas time when Santa would appear for photos. It was always good times at Kmart in the 80s.

Prices are good but I dread checking out. The cash registers are extremely slow and out of date which is probably one of the causes for the enormous wait time, along with only 1-2 registers open while it is busy. Feel bad for the friendly clerks, they have to deal with the laggy cash registers that sometimes break.

The store is not like it used to be anymore. They have phased out video games, are in the process of doing away with DVDs now it looks like. Toys never seem to change or the aisles kept clean to see what you are buying. Its still a good go to store when Im back home visiting if my grandparents need something.

The dumbest people on earth working there! Ten people in line per register and two lanes open?? Price check?? Oh dear God, nooooo! Ten minutes to answer the call another ten to find the correct price. Every time I walk in there Im reminded at checkout why I shop at Meijer.

This place is either under staffed or has poor management. Theyre not very efficient and it seems like I always end up waiting in line to check out even though the store isnt busy. Ive seen staff standing around chatting about non work appropriate topics as well.

Our local Chesterfield Kmart closed down over a year ago so we started going to the Richmond location. Very sociable service desk, a very calm shopping experience. They treat customers with a smile & the prices are great!

I still shop here occasionally. I wish Kmart was like it used to be in the old days. I remain loyal only out of comfort. Its really a disappointment nearly every time I shop here.
