On 8/10/16 I ordered an item for free delivery to the Bradenton FL store. On 8/11/16 my credit card was charged $54.46. After hearing nothing we checked the card account and noted a refund of $51.11 on 8/22/16. Calling both the 800 number and the store elucidated that they had called the wrong number to notify arrival (correct number on order) and after 10 days had canceled the order. The $3.11 short was some technicality which was "not their fault" but could be credited if I re-ordered. There will be no re-order and Penney have lost another long time customer. 8/30/16 Just received an inquiry call from Penney resulting in refund. Somebody there is still competent and this is appreciated.

Tried to call the store to check on a month old order which hasnt come in. The machine answers , but nobody answers the phone. Why dont they disconnect the phones to at least save us from wasting our time. No wonder they are doing poorly.
