My wife went to visit this store yesterday evening (Monday 8/15/2016) with 3 of our children and had an awful experience. The store was mostly empty. Maybe 3 other customers in the entire store. The checkout cashiers were at the registers talking and laughing, then stopped to stare at my wife as she walked into the store, but they didnt greet her. In the first department of the store, another worker passed by my wife and didnt acknowledge her. My wife and kids made their way to the childrens clothing department and within minutes the same worker came to the department and pretended to straighten clothing on the racks, or whatever. My wife walked to the other side of the childrens clothing section and the worker followed her to "straighten clothes" again. Once again my wife walked to another rack and again there was this suspicious worker, busy doing nothing. Every time my wife would look at the worker, she would quickly turn away, but it was obvious the woman was suspicious of my wife possible stealing from the store. This made my wife uncomfortable, so she decided to leave the store and purchased clothes from the nearby Marshalls and Bealls Outlet instead. My wife and I both have worked within law enforcement and loss prevention. We know the drill. But to be suspicious of a person for no reason at all and cause them to feel uncomfortable is rude and poor customer service. Sears, you thought you were preventing a theft, but instead you lost a sale!.. and a customer.

I recently bought a mattress set from this location for 3,400. Do to lack of employees knowledge it took us almost 2 hours to complete our transaction . Sad thing is we also bought a carseat , and to gel top pillow , along with a special ordered one for 130.00. You would think with all the money spent that day . We would have nothing but good things to say about our new purchase . But we have had nothing but discomfort and let down. We are currently trying to make a mattress claim because it is already sinking in and this shouldnt be a issue but now were required to pay an additional fee of 69.99 that was never told to us. I called the 1 800 number and made the claim , sent pictures , even my receipt. I went to the store and spoke to Tony the manager and was told he would work on it for me and take complete ownership of this situation ( trying to get the fee waived ) only to find out after not receiving a return call back to find out now that he has passed it on to another manager . I would definitely say customer service isnt their strong point

Bought kenmore elite appliances,microwave never came with hood even tho the box said hood included. Dishwasher has done nothing but break down thank god we got insurance on that 1 appliance 200. Per year. Fridge just quit after 2 years this is ridiculous. Salesman was so nice while we were handing him 4 thousand dollars,however has been useless ever since...they just basically aay not my problem...i will never go to this sears again and i will never buy kenmore again going to get a samsung or lg. Very disappointing. These appliance should last a life time not a year or two. Terrible terrible terrible

If I could make this a zero I would! Do not ever go to Sears and buy something with their why not lease it financing! It is a total scam. Sears lies to you and tells you you are renting to own but in actuality you are just getting something to rent. So after we spent a year paying over 400$ a month on a couch and a washer we havnt paid a dime towards either one! And the best part is.... they wont let us return the couch unless we pay $771.00 TO RETURN IT!!! Such a shame that Sears has sunk so low to working with a scam agency that is scamming people everyday!
