Red Man

Went to buy a Carthartt jacket today, the lady there was very helpful with selecting it. The problem was that it was marked $89.99 and I had a 10% coupon which she told me I could use. When she rang it up to total came to $90.62 with tax. I questioned the total and she told me that they raised the price on it. She told me that there was a problem to give the "old" price. Like a dummy I was thinking it was only a very small difference so I went ahead and signed the receipt. Then when I had time to sit down and look at the numbers I see that they overcharged me $4.77. It should have been $85.85 with tax. So, they raised the price to $94.99 (+ $5.00 over the marked price) because with the 10% discount it rang up $85.49. I believe that by law they owe me the overcharge difference plus a $5.00 penalty which adds to $9.77. I am not happy about this and I am just thinking about not going back there ever again and telling everybody where I work not to go there or if they do beware of them scanning higher prices than the marked prices. I wonder if they do this to everybody that uses a coupon.

Excellent products here. I purchased Hy-Test work boots from here 9 years ago. The only thing that went bad were the shoe strings. Then I purchased boots from Red Wings shoes and I wore out 2 pair in less than a year, so I put new strings in my Hy Test boots and Im still wearing them.

Great service at competitive prices. I expected to them to have a bit more options available, but they do have it online and can ship quickly. It just adds an extra step of needing to come back to the store to check for fit.
