I hate to add a negative bit of a review here, since I shop here quite often and almost always have a nice experience, but I feel it should be mentioned. So first, the good part. Ironically for a store that markets itself as a health and alternative store, the first thing I wanna mention is the meat and deli section. Quality product, above average variety, and nice, knowledgeable people. The more general parts of the store are also good, and they dont have as much stocked up as megamarts, but its a smaller grocery store- what can you expect? Id appreciate more options for dried beans, lentils, etc, but thats just me. The vegetable section is pretty good, but again, for a store focusing on higher quality, organic ingredients, theres a bit of lack in variety sometimes. I also see a good amount of wrinkled or damaged goods, which is probably not the best for a store who markets itself the way it does. The cashiers are quite talkative, but always friendly and have something interesting to say. Im pretty sure it comes with their training to try to make conversation, since Ive talked with a guy who brought up the Princess Diaries with me before. Unfortunately this morning (Wednesday, you can see the date on the post), the only woman working the cashier wasnt quite as pleasant. She gave me the normal greeting, asked me how I wanted my meats bagged, all the good general stuff an above average cashier should do, but as I was paying, she asked me a question about my shirt and then made a smarmy, sarcastic comment about it under her breath after I started leaving. I have an abnormal look and wear clothing that some may find offensive- Im aware of this, and dont mind the off glances, the occasional comments from passerbys, etc. Personally, her comment didnt bother me that much, I just laughed it off on the way out. But people should not have to deal with rude comments on their appearance when theyre trying to buy their groceries. If it was someone more self conscious than I, that kinda thing could ruin their day. Not cool.

Overall a fine place. It will definitely give Sawalls (a local healthy food store that is not bashful with its prices) some competition. But if you really know the products you want, then Meijer (across the street) has some (repeat SOME, not all) of the same products for less $. New and unusual products are here and worth exploring. The steak, grass fed with cut called Tri Tip, was the best tasting Ive had in at least 15 years. Biggest problem Ive found is no search function on their website. The "canned" answer in the FAQ is that the products change frequently. This would be very helpful in their Wellness dept.

Since I relocated from the DC Metro Area, Earth Fare has been the store where I get my organic produce. The staff is nice and friendly. I prefer them to the other local competition and shop there just about weekly. They have a wide selection for the size of the store, to include a bakery, animal products, a pizzeria, an buffet... In addition, our family is now dependent on the high PH water from the dispenser. Finally, it is really encouraging to be a member of their tomato bank now called the Healthy Rewards to accrue credits, and you can randomly get a $5.00 credit for providing feedback online!

Some of the people that work here have the worst attitudes. They mostly hire hipsters that wear beanies and flannels year-round and are just irritated when you ask them to make you a smoothie or order anything from the deli. The cashiers are nice, but the deli/juice/smoothie people need to work in the back...ZERO social skills. Ive waited over a year of going there at least twice a week to finally write this, but its sad when a grocery store chooses to hire so many of the same type of person. When theyre all rude and barely speak (mostly grunt and stare at you) shopping there is miserable.

When we first went in there, we were expecting crazy prices and maybe a stuck up atmosphere, but it was definitely not like that. Yes, some things can be a bit pricy, but worth it for quality and quantity. I love their rewards program, and they have great sales! We now go here any chance we get. I love to try new things, and this is a great place to do that at! The staff are super friendly and helpful, as well. We love this place so much, I signed up for the texting, to stay up to date on all the new sales as they come out :)

I love that Earth Fare exists. I just wish they would get better produce in and/or find a way to keep it better. I cant tell you how much produce I have had to toss from this place after a day, because it just goes bad so quickly. Given the expense of their fruits and veggies, it is quite frustrating. I am starting to go to Sawalls more often because of this, but its such a shame, because otherwise Earthfare is a pretty decent natural foods store. Hope to see them make some improvements in this area.

Its not whole foods, its not trader joes. i like the idea and the food bars. Its great go to if you have food restrictions, organic, vegetarian, vegan, gluten free varieties abound but pricing isnt fantastic. For comparable grocery items across the street by same brand maker youre paying a lot to shop here. However they DO have the variety and extra items big grocery doesnt offer. As well as atmosphere a lot of ppl enjoy.

They have a great selection of health foods and products, I love their meat/dairy alternatives (they have just about everything). They have a bulk section so you can stock up on pantry supplies without wasting plastic or packaging and save money. And their health and beauty section is impressive. If I could afford to do all my grocery shopping here, I would.

The people are too friendly. I had 8 things, and the cashier was chatting with the two ladies in front of me as if they were on the view; way too long of a checkout process. The isles are too cramped for their weirdly shapes carts, and my produce molded over within 5 days. Meh... Be friendly, but get people out!

It is a great smaller to mid size grocery store with a lot of natural, better, and premium products that are hard to find elsewhere. So expect higher pricing than a traditional grocery store. The salad and hot food bar is a nice touch. Staff members are friendly and helpful.

It is a very nice place...pretty expensive and not everything in the is organic. I love their meat and dely section!!! They have a sit down area and a café look a like space. Pretty convenient. If you are shopping with a child there is a small kids cart there too.

Great store for health food...deli...hot food bar... Only problem I have is the chronic understaffing. Shows itself most markedly at the Smoothie/Juice bar, where things can get really slow if only one person is working.

My favorite place for organic and tasty food! They have a great Togo area with a salad bar, olive bar, full deli, pizza cooked or take and bake, sushi, and tons of other items. Check the weekly deals for good savings.

Very clean store and they have pizza they make fresh or you can get a take and bake. They have a salad bar, fresh organic vegetables and gluten free candy and also medicine and vitamins and other natural remedies.
