Very poor experience!! I found a truck I was extremely interested in and called for details. I spoke to a pre-owned sales associate named Zach. I asked lots of questions over the phone and explained I would be driving about 3 and a half hours to see the truck. I specifically asked if there was anything I should know about the truck that were not represented in the pictures. He told me all looked good for a 2008 truck. Over the next three days we communicated and I had an appointment set with him to look over the truck. I had all my financing set and was ready to drive the truck home. When I got to the dealership Zach was no where to be found, forgot the appointment, and was at another dealership. I was able to find the truck on the lot to take a look and was very disappointed. On the website they said the truck went through a 120 point safety inspection yet had bald tires literally down to the wear bars. In addition the truck had real bad rust along the top of the windshield and looked like the windshield was replaced by a child. It had caulk that had squeezed out on the inside and just looked extremely questionable. I am no mechanic but seems like these things should have been caught and fixed before a dealership offered it for sale and talked up the 120 point inspection it went through. I understand I was looking to purchase a used truck and there would be things that were not perfect. It just seems like if a dealership really cared about customers then at a minimum with a $20,000 truck it would be safe to drive off the lot. Add in the fact that this particular sales associate didnt even look at the truck himself before he was representing it over the phone and then forgot about our appointment I drove 3 and a half hours for just put a bad taste in my mouth. I would tell anyone looking to deal with this dealership to be very cautious and make sure to ask lots of questions and get extra pictures before you drive to buy something from these people. I unfortunately had to walk away from the deal but glad I did as I am sure there was more things hidden.

March 2015 I purchased a 2014 Promaster that jeff bearden (new car sales manager) stated there was absolutely nothing wrong with it. Its now April 2016 and the Promaster has been back to the dealership 10 times with me waiting more than 40 hours in the waiting room. Everything the Promaster has been back for was a problem before I purchased it The Promaster still has not been fixed. Update....I was back to service twice in July 2016. the first time after many telephone conversations with the service writer I thought The promaster was going to get a new body control module and brake pads. After waiting for 3 hours i was informed they adjusted parameters instead which accomplished nothing. The second visit to service in July I waited 3.5 hours and was told by the service manager that nothing is wrong with the promaster. Yesterday I received a call from a former employee at Milnes that informed me that the majority of the times I took the Promasted in for service the sales manager Jeff Bearden had instructed them to let it set and not do anything to fix it. This because I had previously written a negative review. I offered Jeff Bearden when I purchased the Promaster "when I am happy with a company I tell the whole world" and "when I am unhappy with a company I tell the whole world" Milnes and Jeff Bearden could have gotten a positive review if they had been honest and fixed the Promasters problems.

Among the top dealer sales experience Ive ever had. Ive been doing my research for over a month for a particular vehicle, comparing prices, features, and source. Milnes had the best value for the condition of the car, the features, and the price (not the lowest price, but best VALUE). I got in touch with A.J., who brought the car out for me, and let my wife and I take it for a test drive however long we wanted. Zero pressure, very friendly. We had a preapproval for the financing from our own source, but Rhonda the business manager worked the phones to beat the deal we had, and she did. She did manage to sell us the extended bumper-to-bumper warranty, but given how much electronics is in the car and my own experiences with unexpected critical systems failures in other cars Ive owned, it wasnt a tough sell! :) All in all, a smooth and painless transaction. We knew what we wanted, nobody else in the area or even the Internet sellers that are popping up could beat the price so we didnt even bother trying to negotiate. Mr. Milnes, you have a great staff there!

My husband and I were travelling from Detroit to Glen Arbor, MI, last week. We were in a rental car, and a message came on the dash, to pull off immediately and check the rear passenger tire. We called the rental 800 number, and the closest agency office was 30 miles away, and the dash message said not to drive over 50 miles an hour. The rental agency was less than helpful. We saw the Milne dealership, and drove in there, fulling expecting to pay for any work done on the tire. We have never been treated with such courtesy and professionalism. They checked our tire immediately. During this period we were offered coffee and a place to sit down in the office. We have owned five Jeeps since 1990, and have always been happy with them. But our local dealer, does not hold a candle to the folks at Milne. They would not even let us pay for the repairs, and wished us a safe trip to Glen Arbor. My only regret, is that I dont live anyplace close to this superior dealership.

5 stars all the way! I just recently purchased a vehicle and I was more than satisfied with my sales-person, Jamie. She went above and beyond to seal the deal. By time I shook her hand at the end of the sale I felt like a handshake was not enough, and I really needed to give her a hug because at this point she felt like a family member! Lets face it, when buying a vehicle a lot of questions are asked from our end and sometimes it can be exhausting being on the phone for hours with the dealership with hold times, and call backs, work, or even our children in the background. JAMIE SOLD ME A VEHICLE 99% DONE THROUGH TEXT MESSAGING! Shes unbelievable good at what she does! If youre a busy person and want to buy or even talk about a vehicle ask for JAMIE!! Shes very educated and gets straight to the point. I cant thank her enough for all she did for us and like I said Im completely satisfied with my purchase.... thank you again Jamie, youre truly amazing! -Danielle

Review for Milnes Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram in Imlay City: It’s hard to have a “good” experience when purchasing a vehicle; it’s just not set up for enjoyment. We have purchased numerous new/ used vehicles over the years and we can count on one hand “having a good experience”. But this dealership has changed our opinion for the better. Our salesman Garry Sparkman (Sales and Leasing) is the absolute bomb collectively with Wayne Anderson (Used car Manager) and Chris Drzewiecki (Business Manager) we’d like to say your dealership is one of those five based entirely on your sales team which is absolutely remarkable. We purchased three new/used cars in the past two months from Milnes and Garry, Wayne and Chris made this transaction seamless, satisfying and enjoyable. A refreshing experience which urges us to recommend these people and the dealership to our family and friends. Thank you soo much for going above and beyond the norm. Gina and Tibi Caraiman
