I used to go to this beauty supply for any and everything I needed for my hair. Unfortunately about a week ago I went into H & J with my older brother, being from DC my brother has a metro card in his wallet, he walks in and the beeper goes off. He walks out the beeper goes off. Not leaving the store he emptied his pockets and pulls out his metro card. As we continued to shop one of the workers send another work to follow us around the store. So as we are looking at the glasses I look up and see the worker standing directly behind my brother looking over his shoulder. For me to use this store for year and be treated like a pootbutt kid that needs to steal, this upset me pretty bad. So H&J will never get another dime of my money. Support your black businesses. Orientals know nothing about our hair.

HORRIBLE!!! They lie about the amount and numbers of the products they sell. I bought something that said there was 200 as they amount. When I got home I realized there was 100. I went back in and had the recipt and package and everything and they accussed me of lying. I even had to talk to the owner who still wouldnt refund me anything or even listen to me. They were all immediatley defensive and rude. I WILL NEVER NEVER NEVER be going there again. I have worked in customer service for 11 years and they are the pure example of how run a buisness into the ground.

Never ever will i spend another dollar in this store. Every single time Ive gone there in the past few years, Ive never felt comfortable. From the minute i walk in, to the minute i leave, the cashiers stand behind the counters watching me as if Im about to rob them. Its really degrading. At first i just brushed it off, but it never ended. Ive bought from this store at least 20 times in the past 4years. But enough is enough. Youre in bussiness because of your coustomers the least you can do is treat them with respect!!!

This store makes its money off of people that look like me, yet they treat us like we will steal. Every time I go into this store, I am followed and/or watched. Like seriously, your livelihood is possible because of dollars spent by Blacks and other minorities. You can keep a roof over your head and food on your table because of us. Stop with the stereotypes already.

DO NOT GO HERE!!! Me and my dad went there on multiple occasions to get me extentions, they NEVER have the right color or length, they lie to you just so you will buy something. They over price, they dont help you, and you are never going to be happy with your experience there. DONT WASTE YOUR TIME OR MONEY HERE

I have been non there twice in the last month and they are extremely unhelpful. They were more interested in talking amongst themselves than to me. I took my money and went across the street to the tiny overcrowded beauty supply store. At least shes helpful.

I was walking. Around with a set of clip in hair extensions and wanted to feel how thick and the quality of the hair well one of the worker snatched it right out of my hand and said Ill hold that for you and I ended up buying them and they suck dick.
