The Shop is more then just a tattoo parlor. Besides amazing artists, and impeccable cleanliness and precise after care instructions you will find amazing people who want you to love your ink! The atmosphere is so relaxed, everywhere you look you can catch a glimpse into who your artist is and what they like. You can catch the guys tapping their feet to the music and humming along. You may walk in a client but you walk out with a friend, and sometimes even a stomache ache from laughing. Getting a tattoo there is more then just mind blowing artwork, its an experience you wont forget. Darl has done all of my tattoos, and I love each one more then the next. He listens to what you want and tells you honestly what will work and what wont. He is not pushy or degrading in anyway, he is passionate about what he does and really takes the time to understand what you as the customer want. From portraits to a memorial tattoo for family members he has amazed me with all his work. I couldnt pick a favorite because each is impressive and meaningful. Ive walked in with a basic idea and stammered a few sentences and Darl showed me a drawing that was exactly what I had in mind but couldnt convey in words.

A first rate experience from the moment you walk in the door. Darl is a superb artist who is a pleasure to deal with. Philly John, and the rest of the crew take their work seriously, and it shows. I recently had a memorial tattoo done featuring a photo of my mother and myself as a young toddler. Darl NAILED it. I can find no flaws in this work, and Im as familiar with the photo as I am my own face. Im so very proud of the work Darl has done for me. Next week Im back to get a memorial done on the other arm featuring both mom and dad. I cant wait, as I know when its done Im gonna have an awesome piece of art on my arm. My daughter is also going in for her memorial tattoo this week as well. We are gonna keep you busy Darl, we love your work. Nobody else is touching my skin from this point on. You are a beast.

Ive not been to "The Shop" yet, but I know Darl, the owner/artist, to be an incredible tattoo artist, who is incredibly friendly and a joy to talk to while your work is being done. He did some touch up work for me, and did an incredible complete tattoo for my wife. He was able to design exactly what my wife was looking for. He designed what he thought, and then made some minor tweaks to get it just right for her. We couldnt be happier with the job he did. We also had a great time chatting it up with him. One of the nicest guys you will ever meet. Highly recommend The Shop. If he is running things, it has to be as good, if not better than where he was before.

The shop was recommended to me through a friend whom is related to the owners wife. Can I just say how incredibly lucky I was to have had that connection for w/o it I never wouldve got the amazing self changing cover up tattoo I got! Darl not only covered up a mistake I made so many years ago but was a key part in the transformation of my self esteem! I would recommend The shop to any and everybody who wants a tattoo! Amazing work is done in that shop! AMAZING!

Firs time to The Shop was on my 40th Birthday 4/18/17, although I have know owner, Darl , for about 8 years now. His shop is super clean, great atmosphere with sick tunes. Darl is a fun guy, easy to talk to especially about horror movies. He did an awesome job on my new ink and I recommend him to anyone looking for some custom tattoo work.
