My wife and I decided last year that with the kids getting older (4 and 2) and into the water as much if not more than us that it was time to start looking at boat options. We knew from the beginning that we wanted an inboard but not sure if new or used would be the path. We went back and forth multiple times and finally, with the guidance of Troy, landed on a X20. I must say that with all of the back and forth on "new or used" as well as the up and down budget that we were attempting to work within Troy was great and never pushed us one way or another. He actually went out of the way at times to point us in the direction of the cheaper options (this is a trait in sales that is all but gone but an important thing to me) and with that approach we knew that we had chosen the right dealership to work with. From the signing of the deal sheet to the delivery of the boat the entire team at Action was top notch. Mark (new boat delivery) spent time to go over every option of the boat and took the time to answer all of the questions that my wife had, no matter how little the item effected the operation of the boat, which put her in a very comfortable spot in operating the boat which is KEY for us. In regard to "why MasterCraft" that answer is simple... Quality! In this process we went to the boat shows just like everyone else and while some other companies had boats that looked great from the outside once we got into the boat and starting "playing with" the components it was clear that MasterCraft was above and beyond the others. Even my wife, a boating novice, pointed out to me her perception of quality difference. I have been around the boating industry one way or another almost my entire life and was surprised by the hands-on, customer driven approach that Action Watersports provided. You hear a lot of dealerships claim that they are focused on the customer but I have never experienced anything like Action. From the working through the terms of the deal to the follow up letters and through scheduling delivery of the boat they provided an experience like I have never had including purchasing cars and other "toys". When the boat was delivered the smiles on my families faces were priceless and that is the reason that I love boating! Those smiles are a direct reflection of Action Watersports and the treatment of their customers! I can not say thank you enough to the Action Team!!!

From the moment we walked through the door, we noticed a difference at Action Water Sports. We were greeted with kindness, given space to shop around, and had our questions answered in detail. The complicated and sometimes overwhelming process of making a good decision on a new boat was made simple... even enjoyable! We were welcomed back numerous times and invited to events. Our two young boys loved looking at all the boats and watching the winch wars. By the time our deal was closed, it was like we were one of the family at Action. Many employees now recognize us and our children, greeting us with names and smiles when we enter. We feel honored to live on a lake here in Michigan. We realize we are a part of a movement of people who live for the water, respect the privilege, and enjoy the freedom a day on the water provides. Greg, Mary, Troy, Lindsey, Bruce, Aaron, Mark, and the rest of the Action team always treat us really well. Their actions show us that they share our passion for water. We can see it in their eyes and hear it in their personal stories. We are now on our second boat from Action and are lifelong customers! Thank you Action Water Sports! Can our boys work for you when they get older?

So its mid-summer and I have significant service issue on my ski boat (not even a Mastercraft). Requires engine to be pulled and everyone is being noncommittal on when they could even look at it, let alone fix it and get it back to me. By all estimation its looking like mid to late August at the earliest. Bye Bye Summer! But a call to AWS changed all that. Polite, responsive, helpful, knowledgeable are just few appropriate descriptions of the phone conversation. It only got better after that. The extra half hour drive to Fenton was well worth it. They got it right into service for review, responded back to me within days and finished the job in less than 2 weeks. Thanks to Matt (service), Mary (owner) and your service techs. You appear to have reset the standard for customer service in the "ski" boat business.

I have been a loyal customer of Action Water Sports for many years. They always treat me with respect, care and incredible service. The entire staff is awesome. They are very friendly, knowledgeable, helpful and have a genuine desire to help and make their customers happy. Aaron, Bruce, Brad, Lindsay, Karl, Mark, Gregg and Mary, just to name a few, are the most customer focused people in the business. They go out of their way to welcome you, make you feel like family and show you their true appreciation for your business. I couldnt be any happier with this outstanding company and I am so glad that I met them...nearly 25 years ago. I simply cannot boast enough. I look forward to each and every visit.

Called for a new cable for my hoist. Right off the bat the gentleman in parts dep. was kind of rude. When I told him my boat hoist model # he rattled off a different incorrect model # from memory other than the one I gave. I then gave him the correct model # again and then he got short with me like I must be incorrect and told me the wrong hoist model# again. I calmly told him again he had the wrong model #. He clearly wasnt listening and if I would have simply trusted his expertise Id be getting the wrong $100 part minus a week of boating before ordering the right part elsewhere. I was done trying after that. There are too many other boat parts dealers to put up with rude service.

I bought a used Prostar from Dirk at Action Water Sports Pine Lake Location. I had a great buying experience. I can be a very demanding customer and was dealing with Dirk for about 2 years and looked at several boats before I found the boat that was right for my family. Dirk was always friendly and courteous throughout the whole time. When it came to purchase our Prostar, I dealt with Lindsey at Action Water Sports in Fenton to complete all the title/registration/financing paperwork. Lindsey worked hard to make the process easy and painless. I would recommend Action Water Sports and Dirk to anyone looking or a new or used boat.

Outstanding dealer!! Entire staff accommodates the customer - sales (Aaron), delivery/orientation(Mark and Eric), equipment (Danny and Lauren) and service (Matt and Bruce). We have sent emails to the dealer personnel at all times of day and night. Most impressive was responses from Mark, Bruce and Matt at 8pm or later. Now thats customer service! Thanks to all at Action for an EXCELLENT buying and owning experience.
