I called in to the store to ask a question and this is what happened...... I purchased an item from the Novi store and wanted to return it a few days later. It just wasnt going to work out. I called into the store and the gentleman that answered the phone sounded like he barely spoke any English. I then proceeded to ask him if I was able to return an item that I bought at a different location and return it at this one. He immediately, with an attitude, said why? When I said what do you mean why?, he said "whats wrong with it," again with an attitude. I then proceeded to explain to him that there was nothing wrong with the item, I just did not like it and wanted to return it. He then said to me with a loud obnoxious voice, "so why dont you want to return it at the Novi store?" I explained to him that I was near his location and did not want to drive all the way out there to Novi when I was right by their store. He gained an even bigger attitude and said to me, "so why do you want to bring it here?" I immediately asked for a supervisor because I did NOT like his attitude and was not going to put up with his extremely obnoxious and out of control attitude. He then put me on hold without saying a word. After 15 minutes of being on hold, nobody answered the phone. I then called back three more times and nobody answered. All I can say is, This store fails on all levels every single time I attempt to do any business at at that location. The customer service at this location is the worst I have ever experienced at any department store I have ever been to in my life. I once had to wait 30 minutes before somebody actually approached me and asked me if I needed anything, because there was literally nobody walking around the floor to ask a question. Then, When I told the guy I needed someone to help me with cameras, they sent someone over, who took 15 more minutes to actually get to me. The best part is the guy that took 15 minutes to come over told me, "I dont know anything about cameras, they just sent me over here to help you." Someone please explain to me how a store can take a total of 45 minutes to get someone to assist you just so that person can tell you they cant answer any of my questions because they know nothing about that department?!? All in all, worst store ever! If you want to save your time money and prostration, do not shop at the store! Terrible!

I used to purchase every needed item from them; however my experiences in the past year from this store has caused me to never make any additional purchases from them. Lets start off with the unprofessionalism from the employees starting out with flat out arguing with the customer and or ignoring customers when attempting to price match. This store will always argue to not honor a price match even if its sold and shipped from Amazon!!!! Then not even explaining why. The store manager thinks that he is a king trying to speak to a customer from an elevated ladder overlooking the store instead of having enough courtesy and respect to speak to a customer at eye level. I have witnessed managers sitting down on multiple occasions when a customer has asked for a mangers assistance. Finally to employees physically touching me on my shoulder to ask me if he could help me with anything. The way they can help me is to keep their hands off of me. Never buy anything from this place due to the lack of respect and professionalism!!! BestBuy you have lost me as a customer forever!!!! My advice is to replace the managers and the staff and send the current staff to different locations in order to understand how to speak to customers!! Honestly just fire them all! This will be sent to the better bureau of business ASAP!!! Also when calling the 1800 bestbuy number the representatives refused to put me on the phone with a manager stating that their was none in the building at the time. I then asked for a call back and they stated that supervisors werent allowed to make outgoing calls. How is this even a possibility?!?!?! I was on the phone for 4 hours speaking to a total of 6 agents whom all refused a manager trying to handle the situation on their level. I informed them that I just wanted to speak to a manager; this was when the last agent told me that the manager didnt have time to do such thing!!!!! I will be going to the media for this issue if it is not resolved!!!

Worst customer service experience I ever had with this Best Buy store, the staff are very rude and the manager Stephany lies a lot, I tried to update my I phone 6 plus with new I phone 6 S pulse the sales member jimmy at cell phone sales section tried to sell me defected phone and when I told him the phone have manufacturers defect he got attitude and told me he is not going to open up another new i phone, telling me this phone worth $900, that is when I asked to talk to his manager, the supervisor Stephany came over and I explained to her what happen she did not offer any apology instead she asked me what I can do for you, I told here you asking me you are the manager not me, do you want me to do your job too, I left the store upset and called the Best Buy headquarter who also did not care and all they did is wrote down my complain and said we would love to issue a gift card as compensation for wasting my time and the stress but we do not have you e mail or your information in our system, I called the store again and I asked to speak to store manager, Stephany again came to the phone and pretended that she is the store manager and gave me fake name this time she called herself Shannon, I will never go back to this store again and I do not recommend it to anyone, they are BIG TIME SCAMER

Very frustrating service! I came in the week after black Friday looking for a cord to sync my computer and television screen. The staffer I interacted with initially had limited product knowledge in the store. The consultant told me that they did not have the cord in stock I was looking for and said that I could go online to find the cord. While I was talking to the consultant a gentlemen walked up and asked if they sold internet cables. The sales consultant said they did not, which I later would find to be false as well. I figured the consultant didnt know what they were talking about so I did some searching down the eisels myself and ended up finding both the cord I was looking for and the internet cords the gentleman had asked for. To make matters even more frustrating I walked into the video game section where a customer was literally announcing if there was anyone in the store to help him. The only response he got initially was from a geek squad representative at the geek squad counter saying "sir that is not going to do anything". I was appalled by this response. How do you expect to stay in business if you tell your customers who actively are asking for help that its not going to work... Get it together Best Buy.
