Son teatreros al 100%, pues me parece ilogico que solo vayan macarras y camorristas a esa tienda. Mas luego k son muy judios, les dan una oferta, preguntan, "cuanto dinero kieres por eso en realidad,?", el cliente baja el precio y ellos siempre ofrecen el 50% de la ultima oferta. Siempre pensando en el dinero, y con esos gorilas???? Si yo fuese legal no tendria guardaespaldas, mas k luego el padre tiene una pinta de chuloputas k no se afuanta ni rl y el miño???? Un brocnas y un gallito con el byron detras de el. A solas es un cagao

Per chi voleva andare in vacanza a Detroit... consiglio anche l Afghanistan! Per chi dice che valutano poco gli oggetti, bisogna tenere conto che loro offrono il pagamento immediato in contanti per delle cose che forse non rivenderanno mai. In questi periodi anche le banche hanno problemi di liquidità! Dubito che il programma sia al 100% genuino, in caso contrario voi guardereste una noiosa trattativa senza nulla d inaspettato? Certo, credo che le persone che necessitino di contanti non siano proprio tranquillissime... Cmq come programma è simpatico!

Im a Michigan-native, and I went to American Jewelry and Loan to sell some items that Ive won in various online auctions. I had, what I thought would be, the pleasure of working with Les and Bobby. As we were walking to my car to look at my items, I told Les that I was bummed that Im no longer able to watch TruTV or Hardcore Pawn on Comcast. I asked him if he knew, by chance, the reason why I was no longer able to watch TruTv or Hardcore Pawn. He responded to my question with, "How the hell should I know?" My attempt to make the walk to the car less quiet and awkward had gone wrong. We got to the car, and he asked me how much money I wanted for my items. I told him, "Id like a price that we could both benefit from." He gave me a low-ball offer, and I politely said no. Before I had a chance to say anything else or barely blink, Les said, "Okay." Then he immediately turned around and walked inside. I got in my car and drove home. Since then, Ive sold the items for more than double Less offer. My advice: Stick to eBay. Stay away from American Jewelry and Loan.

(O_o) Hi, I own a small company in NM that buys used computers from the public & Ive been watching every episode of Pawn Stars for the last 3 weeks to help prepare myself for dealing with the public. I saw your show for the 1st time tonight & to my HORROR I realized that Ive wasted all my time, because Pawn Stars looks totally scripted/fake compared to your more real to life show! Im extremely glad I found you online &...youve earned a new fan! (o_O) BTW, although I didnt agree with the gun-store owner getting arrogant with you guys & asking you to leave...Ive seen that attitude plenty of times before & it always came from someone who puts to much pride into his prices & work & they get overly offended when people ask if theyll take less & they get angry because they feel like they just wasted all their time on you. He definitely owes you all an apology. He obviously doesnt have your Jedi Master Mind Trick skills when it comes to negotiating, so try to go easy on him Big Daddy Pawn...lol!~; )~*

I love to watch them on TruTv but I would never purchAse anything there. They r waaaaaaay overpriced. I have been in there looking for tools & just happened to browse in the electronics & jewelry area....all I can say is Idky ppl just dont go to a regular stores & as far as selling jewelry I went there just to see how much they would give me for a chain & medallion I paid $600 for ten yrs ago.......I was told (450 wtf isnt gold at an all time high?????/arent they suppose to go by how much gold is being sold for per gram that day??????? I went to another store in Hamtramck the same day & sold it for $750 all I can say is Amer jewelry& loan r a rip off & as far as paWning I hope Im never put in a position where I would need to do that... I mean who really wants to shop somewhere where they curse @ the customers.????????? Its funny on tv but I would never want to witness that in person

As a fan of the show, and being a business man myself, Les is one of the most skilled negotiators Ive ever seen. There is nothing to criticize about him at all. Ya, you might have visited the store and left unhappy, but if anybody had a brain and you watch Les, he is doing it exactly how I teach my employees to do it. If he didnt own his own pawn shop, Id hire him to teach my ppl how to negotiate. Yes, his kids arent as good as him, but they are a lot younger with much less experience. I like Ashley a lot and think shes a future les. Seth has a lot of potential also, he just needs to let his dad teach him. By the time Les retires, I can guarantee you Ashley will almost be as good as her father. As far as the show itself, its a pawn shop. Ppl need to be smart enough to be a lot more realistic and understand where they are going to sell their stuff.

I went there a couple of weeks ago and stood in line for two hours, while there we witnessed a taping of the show, what a joke this show is scripted. They tell the people especially African Americans how to act a fool, and for what purpose. The family does not argue the way that they portray it on television, if I wanted to watch a scripted show I would, and to top it off the customer service was crap. Once I got to the counter the guy looked at me and said I cant help you, without even seeing what I had. I had a laptop, that is only a year old, what the heck, I attribute this to the fact that he was in a hurry to wait on the the girl behind me who happened very pretty and under dressed. What a PIG, but while it looks nice I would not send my worst enemy to this joke of a store.

Estuve en Detroit hace 6 meses por negocios, tuve el tiempo y la oportunidad de ir a la tienda y conocerlos. Puedo asegurar que la realidad y los que vemos en la tele son completamente distintas es decir que cuando graban los clientes raros son en la mayoría ja ensayados para darle gracias y éxito al programa, y además no hay tantos chicos de suguridad como cuando se ve en la tele.
