I have been shopping at Fish and Tackle now for around 5 years, I loved the store and never had issues. Great employees, fair prices, and home town. Recently I called to get amped up for the walleye season and called to see about prices and availability on 6 Okuma line counter reels, the gentleman answered the phone and after I asked my question proceeded to tell me "You know, we only have two people here right now and Im busy you are going to have to call back later if you really want them." I assumed he would ask for my number but did not so I asked when a better time would be and he said I dont know Im a busy guy. I was shocked. He was rude, he did not ask for a call back number and did not even give me a fighting chance. As far as I am concerned I will NEVER be back into the store. I am deeply saddened by the experience but I can get the same prices with better service elsewhere. Still in shock how rude the man was. I wish I could have left a positive review but this left a very sour taste in my mouth...

Like the store except 1 employee, I have been shopping there for 30 years and there is one know it all who tells you what you need rather than asking what you need. He refuses service if you ask for something which may go against his beliefs and he never even asks why. I always try to avoid him when I enter the store but inevitably, on occasion, heis the only one available. Sadly I tired of his attitude and now refuse to go back. He must be part of the family business or he would be gone.

I really hate to bash on tackle shop but being a committed bass angler who knows a lot about bass fishing, I have to say that this place isnt as great as ratings say. Dont get me wrong its great for a quick stop to grab some minnows for bobber fishing but thats not what Im about. I want the high end stuff and this place just doesnt have it. Now there is some decent stuff in there but I think that it gets drowned out by all the old, useless stuff.

Always great service. The guys here know their stuff. Its so much better to support a place like this than say a large fishing chain store. This place sells what they know and love, hunting and fishing equipment. They can inform you on all kinds of things such as what has been working in the area as far as baita and different fishing sites in the area.

My husband loves this store. He was looking for a thingy for his fly rod, Dicks didnt have it, told the guy what he needed, the man knew exactly what my husband was talking about. This is a good size store cant imagine you cant find what you need. Why only 4 * well I didnt go in, had to stay in truck with dog, and not to many places get 5*s from me.

When it came to getting bulk spools of Mason Hard Type Nylon. FTGB, was the place. Would not hesitate to deal with them again. I constantly recommend them as the place to find Mason brand lines and if Im ever surfing thru Davidson MI, Id like to stop in for sure!
