Horrible communication! I took my computer in on Friday, October 23, 2015 to have my computer unlocked. A service that I was told would cost $35.00 and would only take 30 minutes to repair. I gave the clerk $40.00, so I should have received a $5 refund. I was asked by the clerk if I wanted the computer checked for viruses. I only gave the clerk the ok to check for viruses not repair it. I was told that I would receive a call if there were viruses found so I could approve the job if I wanted it cleaned and completed. I received No phone call at all. I called to check on my computer today, Tuesday October 27th 2015. I was told that my computer was ready for pick up and the charge is $99. In complete confusion??? I asked what the additional charges were for? The manager, Vicki Atkins stated that the virus, malware, panel and leg on the computer were repaired. The manager was informed that I did not receive a call to confirm that the viruses were check or asked if I wanted the service of fixing the virus. To my surprise, I have additional fees for services that I did not ask for or request or approve to have completed. I was told that her computer techs have to be paid so I have to pay what is owed or I will not get my computer back. There was no compassion for the mistake her company made for not communicating the extra service to me, I explained to her that if I received a call about the virus I would have told her no thank you because the only purpose for bringing the computer in was to unlock the computer. Ms. Atkins went on to say that if the virus was not fixed, I would have gotten the computer back and I would have said that Shore Pointe Services put a virus on my computer. At this point, I am very confused because now you are insulting me and basically stating that I would have lied on your company; extremely unprofessional. I was offered a $25 gift card that I could use for another time. I would never ever use the gift card because I would never come back to this company for services. Vicki is basically making me eat the cost to pay her technician for a service that I did not ask for. I do not recommend anyone to use this service for computer repair as the managers do not care about their customers and they do not take responsibility for the mistakes of their employees.

I brought in my computer to the place and payed $40 for them to take my description on what Ive seen that was wrong with it.I have called multiple times to see if it was even looked at yet, and to hear what was truly wrong with the computer. It took them 10 days for them to tell me they couldnt restore any data on the hard drive, and that it was my SSD that didnt boot. I was given no description on what was put into my computer besides that it was a 1 terabyte Hard drive (Same size it came with). No one ever called me for an update and I never knew anything until the final day that I came to pick it up.

After researching different computer repair places, I chose to take my computer to Shore Pointe. They not only removed the viruses from my system, but they took the time to explain what might have caused me to get the viruses in the first place. Each time that I called for an update, the staff was friendly and helpful. The techs are knowledgeable and were able to answer all of my questions. I would definitely recommend them to friends and family for all of your computer needs. Not only do they do repairs, but I was able to purchase a refurbished laptop for a great price through them!

I had an older model laptop that a friend gave to me. I took it to Shorepointe for review to see what it would take to get back up to standard. I received a phone call the same day with a quote for the work and what needed to be done. The price was more than fair and in less than a week I had my laptop back in perfect running order. Not only was the timing great I also received a Veterans discount. The staff was awesome! Very professional, and very polite!

Everytime I need any computer repair or have questions, the staff is always very friendly and accommodating. They treat you like one of the family! I had a bad virus issue recently, and wouldnt have trusted my computer anywhere else! Service is quick and they have great prices. All the other services they offer are an added bonus. I would definitely recommend Shore Pointe.

So many services offered under one roof...the mailing store is so convenient, dont have to leave the Harrison Twp, area to mail your packages over the holiday...Weve sent several people here to get their computer fixed or up-graded they offer many great services...check them out Harper & Crocker area
