Do not take anything to CPR for repair. Spent $140 for the screen repair and Screen Defense screen protector. The SD screen protector insures the screen in case of breakage. If the screen does break there is a $30 deductible. Neither the CPR store associates or the SD website warned of a $30 deductible. The story: Within 5 weeks the screen of my daughters 5C popped out of the housing and was not cracked. The store associate told me we need to file a claim. When we attempted to file the claim we found out our SD protector was never registered by the store. We had to wait 30 days for the SD registration... then when we attempted to bring the phone in we found out about the $30 deductible. When we spoke with the manager she denied everything - 1) she claims 5C screens are known for popping out and its not a product quality issue, its an Apple design flaw 2) she denied the SD screen protector wasnt registered because its automatic 3) she denied we werent told about the $30 deductible When I asked to speak to the owner I was told we cannot get a hold of him, he is never in either the Canton or Novi location (he owns both) and he wouldnt call me back. When we asked for the corporate number to CPR we were told "find it yourself" by the manager. CPR corporate was nice, but not able to help because this is a franchisee location.

It took over a month to replace 1 part on my phone, and it still doesnt work properly. The charging port went bad on my HTC One M8, and they told me itd take a few days to get the replacement part, and a few hours to do the repair, for around $150. Seemed like a better solution than buying a new phone. It took them 2 weeks to figure out their original part order never shipped, then another week to get the part by slow USPS mail -- and it was the wrong part. Took another week to get the correct part. They said my phone was ready for pick-up, but I find out the touchscreen wasnt working properly. Another 2 days to fix that. They claimed they tested everything out and it was working fine. I pick it up, and everything seemed okay, until I found out the Volume Down button doesnt work, and neither does the microphone when making phone calls -- I can hear the other people but they cant hear me. So now I have a phone that I cant use as a phone after paying $150 for service. Edit: After a followup from the store, I received a refund for the service performed. Im still disappointed that they werent able to repair my phone to a working status, but at least they made things right by issuing a refund.

Do not take your device to this location. They do not honor their warrantee. I Had a the screen repaired on a note 2 here. Within 2 weeks the screen began lifting out and the lcd stopped functioning properly. They claim it to be damage and thus will not cover the repair. Store response was that warrantee does not cover damage. However the damage to my lcd was a result of the screen they replaced not being properly installed and the glass popping out of the case. DAMAGE WAS DUE TO GLASS REPLACEMENT BEING BOCHED BY CPR. Tech said the lcd was damaged because I touched the phone where the glass they put in was poping out. Of course I touched my touch screen. Stores responce also indicated they offered repair at 50% this is also not true they offered to wave labor fee. Additiinaly when I attempted to have someone document why the repair was not going to be covered the tech contacted the GM who advised him not to give ne anything in writing. Srore responce also indicates repair was 2015. Check your records recipt number 000D018189. Dated 4/16/2016. Last name spelled incirectly on recipt. Spelled on recipt as Malboa. Owner has my contact info I invite to be contacted directly.

I needed to get my power button replaced quickly on my Nexus 5. I called on a Friday to find out if they they had the part and had a quick, pleasant phone conversation to find out that they did stock the button. I dropped my phone off on Saturday for repair and had it back in my hands within a few hours ready to go. The button only costs about $10 and CPR charged $70 for the part and labor. I am a bit of a phone enthusiast and disassembled the phone myself to repair it. Despite knowing exactly how to replace the button I do not have the precision soldering iron required to work on such a small circuit board. I felt $70 was a fair price for the care that is needed to correctly replace the button without damaging the phones circuit board since its $200 to replace the board. Overall a good experience, thanks CPR.

I was very pleased with my experience at this particular CPR store. I had an issue with my charging port and my phone was not charging properly. I had called a few other stores and none of them had the part I needed. I called this store and the customer service was great, I could tell that the representative was busy but he still took the time to check if my part was in stock (which it was), and advised me to come to the store and it would take about an hour to fix. When I arrived at the store I was checked in right away, and there was care given to my phone and all my questions were answered. My phone is able to charge perfectly normally now and I owe it to the great service received at this store! I would reccomend this location time and time again.

I took my cell phone to the CPR store, in Canton, MI today to simply have some imperfections worked out in my tempered glass screen protector. I was fully prepared to purchase another protector when I went in. I was greeted by Jeanette, who took my phone to the repair area for about 3 minutes. She returned with my protector looking like new and bubble-free! I reached for my wallet to pay for her work and time, but she shook me off, and with a big smile told me "no, not today!". I have been to the store with my granddaughters phone and my wifes phone previously. This place ROCKS! They add such a great value to any experience I have had with CPR. I am not at all hesitant to go there again! Thanks again, Jeanette!

The employees of this location are awesome. The female manager makes this business a horrible place. Instead of being rude and a real b word she should take the time to try to help the ppl who choose to come to this place. I will never recommend anyone to this business just because of her. The owner should really read these reviews and assess the problem. She gave me the same BS excuse as everyone else on here. She didnt offer anything else she could do to help. She very rude. I will be calling the owner to see if he can somehow fix my issue. Dealing with her I will never return.

Took my phone it was not charging ,they said either battery or the charging port might be the issue and they can fix charged $45 for the diagnostic + they said battery need to replaced, the phone was powered up after changing the battery but when I charged it in home it did not charge, took it back they said they dont know what is the problem and asked the refund of the Battery they changed which is not the issue , they said they wont refund the diagnostic fee that is the labor cost and refunded battery money. I paid $45 for nothing.
