Their tanks, are always clean, the store is always clean, the employees always say hello to me and greet me when I walk in! Theyre continuously doing weekly water changes and they are certain to recreate optimal conditions for whatever species theyre selling, a good example would be their brackish fish all get their own dedicated tanks. You will also see lake separated tanks for their African Cichlids which Im a huge fan of. You will not find more of a variety of African Cichlids at any other place period. There are usually always tons of Haps and Peacocks in stock to pick from in various different sizes. You can find rare L# plecos here, just ask them what they have in stock and they will show you. Good selection of odd ball species that you rarely see in the hobby. I told Bruce and Lauren that I liked a specific rare type of catfish a few years back, they remembered me and called me as soon as some of them came in! Keep up the great work! Its extremely difficult for me to pass this store without stopping in!

We have had so many experiences with Bruce and Lauren at Bruces Pond Shop!! The team came to my house and set up my 120 gallon fish tank and came to my office and set up our 180 gallon fish tank. Both tanks are absolutely beautiful!!! They have such a large assortment of fish for your tank!!! Out of all of the fish stores I have been in, I can walk in and ask any question and can have it answered there! I would highly recommend this shop for anyone who has or is considering a pond or fish tank!! Cant say enough great things about this place!! You wont be disappointed, I promise!!

This store is absolutely amazing, Crystal clear tanks, always doing tank maintenence when I go in, they quarantine their fish before they sell them, everyones friendly, high quality Texas Holy rock/drift wood, lauren and Bruce are wonderful and very knowledgeable , Ive been to many places before I found them and i will never go to another place again im a customer for life, they have everything if they dont theyll get it, great prices, rare fish you wont find anywhere else, 5 stars just isnt enough for this place , if youre a hobbyist this is the place to go bar NONE.

I refuse to shop anywhere else for fish! Excellent customer service, they will help you choose the best fish for the size and type of tank...beginner or seasoned. They only deal with freshwater fish and that is exactly why you should shop here...no dead floaters, every tank is spotless and fish are in the proper amount of space. Go to petsmart, youll probably end up with ick or floaters and a part time teenager that cannot give you the expertise.

They take the time to make sure you are buying the appropriate kind of fish for the best home aquatic experience for you and the fish. They have new stock constantly and also offer Koi and pond supplies. Plants for your tank or pond and firewood. Make this your first stop!

I went in there to buy some fish for my tank as referred by a relative, the workers let me walk in without saying hello, they let me walk around the store without asking if i needed help or without even looking at me, so i took my money eles where!. Rude employees. Will never go back again

Great place! I buy all my fish here and all are very healthy. He refuses to sell a fish that has not gone through 3 days of medication and watch after recieving in their shipment. He also has a better selection of less common fish that big box stores.

Always have rare and unusual fish. All are always healthy and they keep them for a certain amount of time before they sell them to make sure they are healthy. The husband and wife are always friendly and have so much information to offer.

Bruce has the best store in southern Michigan. The shop is always clean and tanks are always kept up. Huge selection of fish, rocks and wood, tons more than other shops very reasonable prices. Very nice people and really helpful.
