I love Sumpter Ace Hardware because they have such a large array of products, things that you use every day, plus what seems to me to be specialty items. More than once, my mechanic/electrician boyfriend has sent me there with an old part (things that I cant even begin to remember the name of, theyre so obscure to me) that he wants replaced and one of the men working there will walk me right over to the area and find it for me. Additionally, I have looked at several stores for items that I couldnt find and Sumpter Ace offered to order it for me at no additional charge, which I took them up on. Ive even just browsed through the store and found things that I love that Id never seen anywhere before. It is amazing to me the variety of things that they have in the store and the quality impresses me. There prices are very reseasonable and often the same or less expensive than the megastores. They even cut keys. I love em!

My company had an account there and they had just the crabbiest and horrible women that work there. They always had an attitude that was just never how you should treat a company we spend lots of money there for years and its come to a point of we would now rather travel ten minutes downtown the ever travel the one minute for that service. Everything is far overpriced from home depot!!!!!!!!

Convenient, the next closest hardware store to where I live is 25 minutes away this one is maybe 3 minutes. The prices are comparable to any other Ace or True Value and by no means extreme. Sure I could travel an hour round trip to get something in need for a project but I would rather pay a few dollars more and save time. Staff has always been friendly and extremely helpful.

Horrible place! Untrustworthy owners! Bought commercial mop bucket here for 129.99. Found the exact same thing on the ace website for 87.00!! Called and t/the owners, they were unwilling to do anything! Would never recommend this hick store to anyone! Headquarters should check into/audit this place. Bad business practices.
