9 months ago we decided to go with home depot for our bathroom remodel. The subcontractor this store used was united home services out of Michigan . What a disaster. Between the salesman never checking back with us to see if we were satisfied to the contractor showing up without the bathtub, the plumbers not installing the spigot for the tub, the doors were removed and never reinstalled. Extra tile was used on the floor because the installer was learning his tile saw. The carpet was never reinstalled at the thresholds. United Home services was contacted and offered to reimburse us for the box of tile and thresholds and that was over 6 months ago. I was told they were checking on it after I sent them copies of the receipts for the extra tile and thresholds and was told they thought the check had been cut , and that was the last I heard. Home Depot you better double check your choices in sub contractors.

Purchased cabinets, countertops, and appliances from this store. Home Depot did a great job however, the company they contract their work out to: United Home Services was awful. They came to measure for cabinets and four weeks later when the installer got there noticed they had mis-measured and had to re-order the cabinets. Three weeks later the installer says they mis-measured again. They mis-measured a total of five times! I loved working with the Home Depot, Susan in the kitchen department is amazing, but I would never recommend someone to the Home Depot only because they use United Home Services to do their work.

try to order a shower door installation. They got my name wrong and they got my order wrong first. Then they corrected the order after I called. Then the contractor made appointment with me then blow me off. It took two weeks to get nothing done. I am still waiting.

Home Depot has great priced and high quality materials and tools. Its very rare that I return items only because I have wrong sizes or found a better one in their store. They always accept changes. No problem. Friendly staff, too.
