Came to Sears to buy a washing machine. Was waited on by old Mike. After speaking to him on the phone, I had a funny feeling about him, but chalked it up to miscommunication. WRONG. This man was very abrupt and rude. After dealing with his attitude, and listening to his tone of voice, I asked for a little patience as I had a bad appliance situation at home and I was frustrated.He put his arms across his chest and just shut down. I asked him about the noise level of a particular machine & his response was, "I dont know I dont own one". No offer to see if he could find any info on it I had planned to buy a washing machine today from Sears. When leaving the store, i asked my husband if it was just me, and he said, no he was really out of line.Unfortunately, old Mike is the perfect example of why retail stores are going out business

Only speaking on the hardware department. Im sure other departments are in a different boat. Anyway, hardware WAS one of their strongsuits but now not so much. Im a straightforward guy and believe the person who is trying to sell me a tool should know what the tool is. I simply requested to see the DeWalt planer. The kid was puzzled as to that tool was and have a limpwristed point and said "Its gotta be over in the corner back there if we have it." I miss the days when semi retired craftsmen worked there and showed a decorum of self respect. I am now resigned to never returning to another Sears for hardware again.

Bought a dishwasher here and only months old and its garbage allready when i inquired about it they blew me off and asked for extended warranty, which i wouldnt buy in a zillion years, thanks for nothin sears. Sounds like the store is folding now, too bad was a good place at one time, now the have i dont give a rip additude,

I went into the store to buy a dryer they did not have the one I need instock so they ordered it and they told me it would be in December 9 well now its December 20 and still no dryer now there tell me January 6 I should have the right dryer

Purchased a new washer and dryer, almost 1,000. Come to find out the dryer is gas, but the sales guy sold me a electric cord with my purchase. I cancelled my order, this place is a joke. Ill gladly give Lowes my business from now on

Dont ship choose the ship to store option. I ordered boots on March 16th and they still have not come in as of today. Not sure why it should take so long...
