I would honestly have to say this is the worst customer service buying experience of my life. I am a fiancé manger for a highly respected car chain here in Michigan. Before I became a fiancé manger I was just a sales person. The first thing you are taught as a sales person is to "meet and greet" I walked past 7 sales people who were talking about vacations and how one of them just received a huge commission today and was not even said high too. As I kept walking I went back to the clearance center, then finally a sales person found me. Once they found me, they didnt even introduce themselves to me. I wouldnt even know the name of the sales person( I think its sherry foster) if it hadnt been on the invoice I needed to pick up my mattress. She built no report with me, did not qualify me at all, and never asked me what my name was, or anything. If she would have asked she would have found out I need a outside set for my deck, and 6 dinning room chairs, along with 2 more lamps. I even gave her the opportunity to ask me where I was from because I have her a saginaw address, however, she didnt ask one single thing. Lastly she didnt even thank me for the sale, I know (of course cuz I just heard) that she works on commission, I just put food on her table, and she didnt even say thank you. If I have customer service like this in the car industry I would never sell a car. The only pleasant person I ran into was the African American girl who said thank you for shopping at art van, as I left. Either way, it just shows that some people belong in the sales industry and some people do not, at least I didnt buy all the other stuff I need here. I cant beielve how horrible this was. I will definitely not be back. Sorry about the spelling and grammar errors, doing this from my phone.

To whom it may concern, Thank you Art Van and Salesman extraordinaire BJ Elaribi! On Saturday May 20, 2017 I walked into the Art Van Furniture located in Great Lakes Crossing Outlet Mall in Auburn Hills, MI. I was greeted by Art Van sales associate BJ Elaribi who helped me to locate all of the items that I was looking for. He worked very hard and was super kind, patient and competent in his job. I was very impressed with his depth of furniture knowledge and professionalism. In addition to helping me find what I was looking for at the best prices, he went well above and beyond to help me to finance all of the items I wanted and even threw in some cool extras. The level of customer service that I received from Mr. Elaribi is uncommon in this day and age and I feel his work should be acknowledged. about three weeks ago my wife and i went to garner white furniture in auburn hills, mi I had receive a $ 4500.00 refund check and wanted to buy a new dining, living room, and a set of mattress, we had selected our choices, but before i decided to buy i thought we give art van a chance at their Great lakes outlet store an opportunity to get our business, as we entered the store we were not greeted or acknowledge and was look at like we were wasting time a manager for Kroger so customer service is a big deal to me, i was disappointed that no one made no attempt to service us, and i thought thier prices was higher than garner white i told my wife lets go back to garner white that day i spent almost $ 3000.00 and i have my receipt to prove my purchase thank you for sending me to garner white i going back to buy a fireplace another 4 800.00 sale, i thought art van was better than that.

I had orginally came in to purchase a new sofa as I have recently just moved to michigan. A friend at work recommended art van since it was a Michigan store I figured Id check it out. A young man named rowley (I probably didnt spell it right, he said it was pronounced like the city rahleigh) approached me and asked if we had been helped, I told him that we were interested in a sofa but we needed our furniture to be removed before hand. We chatted for a bit and made my family and I very comfortable and he even went and found some places that will take our furniture for free that I did not know of. We did not end up getting anything which I now regret because we missed the 4th of july sale. Rowley was very easy to talk to as well as another older salesman who I never caught his name. Ill be back to buy from one of them!

People seem to be overreacting in these reviews. One person says theyre too pushy, another says no one greeted them. If thats the worst thing that happens to you Id say youre doing alright. Just go in knowing what it is. Its a low cost furniture store. They work on commission so of course theyre going to try to get you to buy a bunch of extras. Just say no if you dont want them. If no one asks you if you need help, just find someone. Its not a Ferrari dealer, youre not royalty, have realistic expectations. Weve purchases thousands of dollars of items from them multiple times and have never had any issues.

Never Buy anything from this Art VAN!!! There are reasons: 1. The sale on them will be bound to other sales, so you wont return them. 2. Customer service are very bad. No patience at all. 3. You will easily lose money when you return items, they will say you need to pay some kinds of fee. 4. I personally bought more than $7000.00 furniture. But I had a hard time to return one item which cost only $117.12. A book case cost $299.99 but when I want to return it they said I can only get $139.99 back because they wont respect the sale any more, so I have to keep it even if I do not like it.

If i could give 0 stars i would i was in looking around at all furniture for my new place. A sales rep came up to me and said can i help you today i said no thank you just looking and she says well ya thats kinda how it goes.so i continued to look and another sales rep asked me what i needed i said i was just looking around he gave me a dumb founded look rolled his eyes and said please know what you want before you come in here and walked away. I will never shop here for any furniture. Absolutely terrible customer service they have 0 respect for anyone but themselves

This is the worst customer experience that I have ever had. My simple recommendation is that DO NOT BUY FROM THIS PARTICULAR STORE. For some reason, if you have no other option, then buy from a different ART VAN nearby. This place: has poor service, does not deliver items on time, does not even check whether the items are delivered to customers or not, has fake projection plans that do not cover anything and the list goes on. I think that Walmart has a better customer service than this.
