This was an absolute horrific experience! Our sales person was semi friendly and seemed like he knew what he was doing while we were at the store. But when we got our couch delivered it was the wrong couch. The delivery guy had brought in a few pillows and I was confused because I knew the couch we had gotten didnt come with pillows. Seeing as how we are in the upper level of our apartment complex I figured I should run outside to make sure it was the right couch before they started carrying it up the stairs. As I had figured, it was not the right one, not even close. I called down the stairs to let them know that it was the wrong one. They had barely made it up the stairs but both got an attitude and were huffing and puffing about how upset they were. No apologies were made from the delivery people. They just yelled "Well, you need to call your sales person then". I realize that this mistake wasnt their fault but as being part of "Gardner White" they still should have been nicer and at least apologized for the mistake. I called my sales associate right away to let him know. He was not available so the woman on the phone offered no help but said she would leave him a message. By this point I wasnt too peeved because mistakes do happen, I realize that. A bit later the sales associate called back but my phone didnt ring for some reason so I only received a voice mail. In the voice mail he let me know that he was going to be out for the rest of the day and to discuss anything further with one of the women there. Well, okay I thought. That is strange, he didnt even leave me anyones name to ask for. I called back and the woman on the phone had no idea what I was talking about of course and did not seem interested in helping. I was put on hold for five minutes until a woman eventually got on the phone and helped me. She told me my couch would be delivered the next day but didnt apologize for their mistake, or offer any type of deal on delivery. At this point I was pretty aggravated and had already decided we will never be going back there again. The same delivery guys as yesterday just delivered our couch, they were rude just as they were yesterday. I looked down from my window to see the one kicking around stuff in the truck. They brought up the couch, set it up and didnt bother moving it at all just left it as it. I understand that where we want the couch is not up to them, but when I kindly suggested that maybe it would look better moved over a bit he didnt even offer to move it. I am very displeased with this experience and I do not suggest anyone goes to this Gardner White.

WORST SHOPPING EXPERIENCE EVER!!! Where do I begin? We bought a dining room set. We normally pay in cash but since it was no interest for 3 years, we financed. My husband put me on the card, I made the purchase and even paid for delivery because he works 12 hour days. They did not deliver part of our set and since it was a Friday, we had to wait all weekend or pick it up across town. They would not allow us to have the displays missing piece from the local store. So, we had 30 minutes to drive across town before the warehouse closed. They would not give us back any of the delivery fee although we had to pick it up because that is a 3rd party AND they would not accommodate us by letting us have the piece from the display (apparently, future customers are more important than those who have paid). THEN, the bill comes and it is NOTHING like what our saleslady said. Again, I was told "we cant help. The credit card company is a third party". So I had to call the credit card company who, although I am on the card and I bought the set, they will only talk to my husband...who works 12 hour days. I HIGHLY SUGGEST GOING ELSEWHERE. I kick myself for not going with Costco who has a wonderful customer service. Gardner White washes their hands of you. I even asked if I could return the set and was told I would be charged 25% fee!!!! Thats $500!!!! Horrible Horrible Horrible!

I was warmly greeted by an associate named Andre, who genuinely tried to understand what I wanted, but also felt free to give his own opinions and suggestions about what might work best in my living room. He was not aggressive or pushy. He even recommended against a sleeper (for good reasons) even though it would have cost us more. He was an interior designer, so he really knew how to set up a room in a way that works. I learned a lot about sofas and different furniture materials. Next he handed me off to Jane, who gave some of her own suggestions and did the paperwork at the end. I ended up buying some leather furniture that I would not have normally gotten, but the helpful staff really had my best interests at heart and I got it because it worked. All furniture was delivered next day (even though one item was supposed to be on back-order), and the movers were extremely careful not to scratch the doorway or leave dirt on the carpet, and they even offered some suggestions about how to position the furniture. I tipped them because they were so fast and efficient! I would really recommend GW Furniture to a friend, because I had an altogether excellent and even fun experience.

HORRIBLE CUSTOMER SERVICE!!! Ordered a sofa and chair on the first day it was available for a sale they had. Ordered it on Friday and was told I could pick it up Monday that they had some at the warehouse but not on location, ok fine. By the end of paying for it the lead time changed from that coming Monday until a week after that Monday, ok. Later that week we call and add another item to the order and they tell us "oh by the way its not going to be ready Monday, its out of stock and going to be about 2 more weeks". We were told 3 different lead times in less than a week, and when we called upset they would do nothing for us to try to make up for their shortcomings and empty promises. Ill never shop at Gardenr White again, which is sad for them since we just bought a large house that I need a lot more furniture for. Completely mis leading on lead times, and horrible customer service.

Terrible experience.... the sales rep sold us $6000 worth furniture, Also you are to make a minimum payment on all you items, Ideally if you did that all of your items will be paid off in the allotted time, became theres no tax or interest for year or two years or three years or whatever contract you sign. however, turns out if you dont pay more than your payment you get hit with the interest and taxes...so we call up and ask about this and they say,they told us that when an item is almost ready to be paid off , to call in to make our payment and have them put the full amount toward that item. And they wouldnt do that either... theyre liars with no integrity they value their customers 0% and I highly recommend you go next-door to our van I know that I am.
