My boyfriend got a prescription filled another Walgreens location. He was visiting me so he decided to call this Walgreens in Ann Arbor on Jackson Road to get it refilled before he got here. He has gotten a prescription here before. There was an elderly pharmacist who was genuinely kind and had useful advice the first time we went there. The night time assistant was also very nice. So this review is not against them... this review is for the other pharmacist... Enter pharmacist Sonal.. So he called while on speakerphone so I can hear him speak to the pharmacist. A female answered the phone and she began to process the prescription. She said that she was unable to fill the prescription (a non-narcotic) because the other location had "closed it out". So she said she would not fill it if we came there. So we then called the other location and asked what happened. They said it was a mistake and a glitch and that they said if he went there they (this store on Jackson) should have no problem filling the prescription as they have reset it and fixed it in their system. So I got to the Ann Arbor location and ran into pharmacist named "Sonal". She said that she would still not fill the prescription. So I asked her to call the other location. She did call the other location and despite the fact the other Pharmacy telling her that it was a mistake, she refused to fill the prescription! She was clearly power tripping because she did not want to own up to her mistake and misunderstanding on her part. So in my opinion she really couldnt take the fact that she was wrong. I then asked where are the nearest pharmacy was that was still open, she had the nerve to say "Lansing" and "Jackson". So I did a quick Google search and found that there was another location within 3 miles. She was ready to send me 50 miles away... Can you believe this? I navigated my way to other store which was still open. I explained my predicament to the pharmacy at the other location and they taken back by Sonals behavior and treatment towards me. Please note that not all Walgreens are bad stores this is just a bad pharmacist Buyer beware, this is not good customer service, this pharmacist is not a good person, in fact, she is evil. I would not spend your money at this Pharmacy

Absolutely HORRIBLE experience!! I talked to the pharmacist today about filling a script for an antibiotic. I was told it would be ready in 30-40 mins. I had a friend stop by to pick it up later that day and she was told there was no script for the name and the store was closing in 2 minutes. She called me and I asked to speak with them to which they responded they couldnt talk to me and I had to call the store. I immediately called the store and they didnt pick up and the message said they were closed. Meanwhile they shut the pharmacy windows in my friends face. Such horrible, unprofessional pharmacy staff. I have used this pharmacy multiple times in the past but will never be using Walgreens again. Please send your business elsewhere to someone who actually cares.

In general I have had a great experience with the checkout staff and the pharmacists at this Walgreens.Today however there was a mixup with a discount coupon I regularly use there. They would have charged me $65 for one prescription instead of $16.00. I had to make three trips to the store to resolve the issue and it ended up being the mistake of the pharmacy assistant. She never apologized even when I pleasantly excused her by saying not many people used the coupons/cards. Does Walgreens give their employees sales training? What ever happened to "customer service" - i.e. how about a smile once in a while?

So Im at Store #11197, dreading another curt, invasive interaction with Cara. I walked up to an empty window only to be coldly dismissed. Another employee noticed me waiting and tried to help, and asked me to name my prescriptions. Obviously health is a private issue, and I know my prescriptions are on file. I said to fill both, and Cara was suddenly free enough to butt in and not only blurt out the brand name of prescription, but to argue withe about my privacy rights. Is this your policy?

I avoid this location whenever I can. I stopped coming here over a year because of one particular supervisor. He is older male that is consistently rude and unhelpful to customers. His interactions with him employees are even more despicable. I made a quick stop today out of convenience and there he was, still rude as ever. How does he still hold his position?

Funny to read all the pharmacy hate... maybe they need different meds. I have always had a good experience here and I find the pharmacy workers a bit entertaining actually.
